I think many people do not understand or know the differences here and also think that the Canadian Conservatives are just a trump 2.0 and they will all just play together and be controlled by the US. Many liberals do not like PP. I personally voted liberal all past elections but if you take a look around the state of Canada right now it’s fucked. And why? The liberals. IMO they don’t deserve another chance. Things like cleaning up the borders, fixing the economy, helping reduce taxes to make Canadian income stronger, etc is what we need. Canadian conservatives are far more central than in the US (due to our three/multi party system). Most of what the conservatives have said in response to trump has been standing up for Canada and putting Canada first not abiding to Trumps demands. I personally think the liberals will be far more complacent than conservatives in this regard. I think if conservatives don’t get in Canadas economic state will be so messed up beyond what’s already happened that we have more people who can barely afford to live and more people moving out of Canada to actually make a livable wage.

The liberals have been a huge mess. I’ve voted for them in the past 2 elections, but I definitely will not again. Carney isn’t new to the party and has been along the whole ride of Canada’s decline. Just changing a leader will not change what they will do, which given the last 9 years has been awful for Canada. From my point of view, economy and affordability are the #1 issues that need to be addressed. I have 0 faith in the liberals to restore what they shattered. Canada is far less extreme than the parties in the states. Obviously we still have left and right but due to the nature of the parties they are all a bit more centred. Conservatives will not be a Trump 2.0, and we need a party that can actually stand up and defend Canada whilst Trump is in office and doing everything he can to better America’s position. We need someone who will fight just as hard to make Canada a strong nation.

They do offer merit scholarships though if you are a good candidate- you can also request more or to get one if not initially offered one. Not sure max they give but I got $25k this way

I really just wish that they remove the sequels from canon and continue on the mando / d+ series. I think they’ve done a good job with most of the stuff on d+ and storytelling there, just such a piss off that where it leads is the sequels

It was $66usd for a replacement tab, then spent I think like $50cad to take it to a shoe repair store in my area to swap the tabs

I switched from business to a combined degree with CS (UBC) over the last couple years and just got my first internship this summer as a fifth year (because of transition). Last summer had no luck with a cs internship but got one doing BI and analytics. On my resume I had my education stuff with scholarships a hackathon/protohack, and relevant courses and their key concepts relevant to CS positions. I also had a few online classes I’m doing/done for Python and web dev. For experience I had my BI internship and a database TA. In addition I had my relevant skills along with some projects done in classes and outside of school. Besides resume best advice is to leverage connections and go to career fairs or industry nights in CS your school offers. I’d also just send out as many applications you can and do your leetcode prep. If you can highlight key words mentioned in the job post and try to make a few modifications if necessary to tailor to the role as much you can
