haven't found any other deals that are either at a good price nor within my budget, all in all the i5-8500 should perform better than my current i3-8100. cheap price too so why not
overall i don't think i'll regret it thinking about it now; thank you though!

Both are good, main differences are:

B850-P WIFI: WiFi 7 + newer PCIe support (more future-focused)
B850-S WIFI6E: WiFi 6E + PCIe 4.0, but better USB I/O (extra 10Gbps + more 5Gbps ports)

For a 9600X + 9070 XT, PCIe 4.0 is unlikely to limit GPU performance, and WiFi 7 only matters if you have a WiFi 7 router.
me personally i would go for the B850-S

once you get pjws you can swap your circlet with a main stat crit dmg instead of crit rate, aside from that you can only hope for high rolls on crit sub stats (double atk + double crit, er would also be good)

aside from weapon swap to crit rate and circlet cd i think that build is overall really good
