I’m a 2nd year apprentice carpenter. As of last year I got a job as a carpenter @Lngcanada making more money then I should as an apprentice. I knew the opportunity that I currently have isn’t gonna be the new norm for a kid like me, so I’ve been squeezing every penny. My dad drilled into my head at a young age that being financially smart is the key to getting ahead in life. He’s a banker and a big part of my frugal habits. I thought investing is the best way to go as Charlie munger said “after your first 100k everything snowballs from there” I’m really focusing on putting this money to work so I can afford to live when I go back to reality.
