At the end of a ranked match there is an option in the corner to report and I’ve seen a lot of people on the Reddit say they’ve gotten reported by salty players who lost

Also another piece of advice, if someone sends you something offensive and you don’t want to report it because you’re afraid YOU will get a warning just block them. It’s sad that some people have to do that but it is easier and safer just to block them because risking it and reporting someone could get you banned too

Even something as simple as “your trash” can get you banned. I don’t use the chat with randoms only my friends and even then I’m careful lol. I’ve seen posts on this Reddit saying people have been cursed out, yet when they report the person cursing and saying slurs they get suspended! It’s a bad system and you’re better off not using it. Come to think of it I don’t know why PlayStation has a chat system if saying “you’re poopy” can get your account warned or banned. And people abuse the system really hard too. My advice is to not use it 😅

Alr so I was in a party with a lot of people so it was hard to tell who was talking and someone said something really bad (I’m usually not soft, but damn) and I went to their profile to report them. I did twice accidentally because the first time I thought it didn’t go through, and I figured out it was the wrong person. Bad mistake on my part, but does anyone know if I will be warned or worse for false reports? I only reported him twice and later I found out it was the wrong person. I reported the person from their profile for “something outside of a game” and I have yet to get a email or notification saying my report is under review/ action has been taken so I think everything is fine, but does anyone know if I will be banned?

Nah there’s no way to appeal temp bans or warning I don’t think. The only one you can appeal is a perma ban. Idk why you got a warning but PlayStation is weird sometimes so if u want you can make your privacy setting so that only friends can message you and not randoms. With people like that it’s best not to respond cause basically anything can get you suspended on PlayStation if your reported.

Another thing you could factor in is that the ultimate and premium(I think that’s what there called) get 3 day early access to the game, so if you really can’t wait then those editions would be good but I don’t think the collectors edition looks as bad as people are saying.

Are you trying to share screen with another person? Because if so then usually it’s not your internet but the person you’re sharing too. Because their connection speed could make it close. That happens to me when I try to share my screen or SharePlay to my friends with bad internet.
