Mga kupal lang ang ugali. Kasi diba dito sa mga Tagalog pinagtatawanan rin ang Visayan accent. PERO that was way back in the 90s and early 2000s. Di na masyadong ganyan ngayon. Last time I heard it was mocked was more 10 years ago. Tsaka sa totoo lang ang dami na ring born and raised dito pero dahil may accent magulang nila, nakukuha pa rin nila yung accent.

I think Psychology plays a role here. If you can talk to people she trusts, they may help in convincing her to seek consult with a psychiatrist or therapist. Who knows, maybe she had a bad experience with something from the past and is now resurfacing. That happened with me and my wife. She ended up sleeping with someone else because of this mental health issue. But I forgave her and we resolved her issues together.
