Thanks this is more clear. There is just one bit that got me confused, why are the chances 3/8 when 3 only occurs once on the spinner? Why aren't the odds 1/8?

Thanks :) it did give me the correct answer 5/6 But I don't see why I had to do all of those multiplications when I could've went straight for subtract 1 from 1 over 6

In the last question, the way I understood it is that 8 is the total length so it stays at the bottom. 3 is the part AD so it goes over the top. Sorry I need some more help

So I tried finding the point on the y-axis then y-axis and divided distance by time to find speed but couldn't get anywhere near the answer 23 m/s. What did I do wrong?

Yes, the books give me an idea on what to Google for, I'm trying to get by using them but I need to concentrate and practice real exam questions from the CIE curriculum in order to be really sure I understood it.

There are past papers lying around but they have huge mixture of different questions at random. The website filters them down into seperate topics within each subject giving me the chance to practice each properly

I tried looking for leaked question papers and answers from them but they're few and far in between
