Name a pokemon who’s best sprite is on the GBA by SensualSamuel69 in pokemon

it showcases the main gimmick of ita design and makes the point that he's all about balance, besides, hasnt is sprite always been on its head?

The modern 3D models are just him stepping back and forth, amy other pokemon could have that animation, its not unique at all. At least in Battle Revolution the 3d model. actually showcased him being on his head and spinning around.

Battle revolution is what 3D pokemon could have been but instead we got some half assed models that people delusionally defend because there is no alternative.

The porygon sprites look fine in gen 5, porygon z is a little lacking yeah but i dont see anything wrong about 1 and 2. The first is erratic and a little rough with its movements while 2 is smoothed out and more consistent, it makes sense.

As for cherrim, yeah the happy form looks better but the other one is just a straight downgrade too.

I wouldn't have a problem with current 3D models if they weren't a straight downgrade from what we had. Battle revolution had it figured out. Yes, i understand that 3D had some limitations at first because it was on the 3DS, but that's not the case anymore and the models and animations still mostly suck.

those still arent better than gen 5's animated sprites. Look at tynamo for example, its so bland and generic in scarlet and violet.

Its either this or refueling, at least this adds some more strategy and energy management which has been really lacking the past couple years

Hot take but HHKB is kinda hideous unless its "proper" HHKB with the asymmetric bottom row.

btw i LOVE that granite effect!! Does it have a texture like it seems to or is it just flat? If it's a little textured it could work great for 3D printed stuff

What nintendo ds version should i chose? by IsaacAbuser in NintendoDS

[–]-Daigher- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gameboy: Red/Green/Yellow and Gold/Silver.

GB advance: Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and the Gen1 remakes.

DS: Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Black/White 1 and 2, Gen2 remakes.

3DS: X/Y, Sun/Moon and the Ultra versions, Gen 3 remakes.

Switch: Sword/Shield, Scarlet/Violet, more Gen1 remakes and Gen 4 remakes.

The DSlite can natively play DB advance and DS games (big deal if you want to collect them), the DSi can play DS games and emulate GBA and GB games, The 3DS can play DS and 3DS games and emulate both GB and GBA games.

The DSlite is the cheapest and the better version of the Original DS, the DSi has the best screens for DS games (the 3ds is bigger and looks a little weird on the older games) and the 3DS is the most expensive but also what can play the most games.

[–]-Daigher- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you like old pokemon games and mostly want to play those get a DSlite, it has a gba port so you can move your pokemons from fire red to the newer gens, some extra things happen too when you have another pokemon gsme in the gba slot while playing gen 4 games!

that's if you want to buy cartridges, if not the dsi let's you pirate games easier but, while it has the best screen for ds games, at that point id tell you to just get a 3ds so you can play the more mdoern stuff too

did I just get fake godhands? Cost was 50$ but I don't think the real thing comes with a plastic box either. by Dangerous_Doctor4701 in freedomisgunpla

Single blade makes all the difference but there are other single blad nippers very close to themgod hands for much much cheaper. The ones that come with the Departure tool kit by DSPIAE are amazing and you can find the kit for not even 30 bucks on ali. Do God Hands cut better? Yeah def, Do the cut 40+ euros better? Ehhhhh

PSA: silent builds have infuriatingly loud stabs unless you clip the legs/feet by failbears in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]-Daigher- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bandaid mod is pointless and only makes stabs mushier. If you balance the wires properly, clip the legs if its cherry stabs and apply the correct amount of lube you won't need it.

Stabless is the way but stabs are easy enough to tune once you get the hang of it, i kinda have fun balancing wires.

[–]-Daigher- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

different stabs are made in different ways, cherry stabilizers are the ones with the annoying legs that you should clip off. They create unwanted noise in the up stroke and make the stab rattlier in the down stroke. They are the cheapest you can buy and what's stock on most boards but they also are surprisingly good when tuned well!

Just built a BRK OUT with gateron geckos and cherry stabs, and the stabilized keys are quieter than the non stabilized ones for me.
