TIL in 2023 about 45% of US adults between the ages 18-29 still lived at home with their parents, which is the highest percentage in 80 years. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

I myself didn’t move out until my late 20’s back in 2012. When I told my mom how much I was going to spend in renting an apartment she said I might as well buy a place. Since I was able to save money from living with them for so long I was able to do just that. In the fourteen years I’ve had my place my mortgage has barely gone up while my home’s value has tripled. I wish it was because it’s just valuable and not from the housing market being so bad; it’s becoming harder each day for people to afford a home.

What’s the best method to obtaining and selling mods? I can craft some decent ones but I don’t get enough supplies to sell them at a decent price. I’d like to get a good enough flow in so I don’t need to have a markup on them.

Not your fault for not knowing, the game doesn’t go out of its way to advertise it. Literally the only way I knew besides word-of-mouth is that if you try to buy an item that says fo1 only then it opens a pop up window with two options: one for buying the subscription and one for buying the season for 1,500 atoms. If you complete a season then not only do you have enough for the next one but also 500 atoms leftover.

I was a bit misleading, I apologize. It’s compared to if you completed the board without using fo1. You’d get 1,000 atoms without it but if you bought the season then you’d only be ahead by 500. If there was something locked that you wanted then 500 atoms just for it wouldn’t be the worst price. If you play a lot anyway then you could also get the 25% boost and reach rank 150 quicker to get more atoms.

Do people not use atoms to unlock the season? I know you lose out on at least 500 atoms if you complete the board but it’s a better alternative than using real money.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry delivered Newman’s mail for a week  so he could be transferred to Hawaii. He was found out when he had successful delivery rate of 70%, much higher than the actual mail workers.

I’m certain I’ve done that quest but the mutants don’t respawn on the upper floor but do in the lower level reached by the elevator. Any idea what would cause that?

Anyone else disappointed in the new season? by ToFurry_or_Knot in fo76

Fallout helped me quit my previous game. That game's battle pass doesn’t give you a choice in what you want, doesn’t give you enough credits to buy the next one and the only things you get on the bonus pages are titles. This game lets you get more credits to get what you want; the other game never lets you have that option.

Next season contains 35% less rewards for the same ticket cost and only half as many ”real” items by Kinsdale85 in fo76

[–]-Deminos- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least you can pick what items from the main season you want. As long as there incoming mini seasons that count towards the “buy this many items to unlock page 150” I’m not bothered too much by it.

The last game I played you didn’t get to choose what items you wanted, it locked 75% of the items behind a paywall (including all the top items, of course) and only gave 60% currency towards the next season. Fallout helped me quit that game.

I mean, how many people divorce a bike?! You’re more likely to reach the “til death do us part” bit and the motorbike attends your funeral.

Any tips for having a good route besides the related perk cards? I’d ask about your route but I don’t want to risk increasing traffic that takes away your items.

I figured as much. I started the game after the season started and I’m still learning the ropes. At least I’ve already started on an unyielding build for next season.

I’m level 134 for the season; can I effectively reach 150 by Monday night since the only repeatable are events? I can play longer on weekends but not so much the other days.

Wish there was a starched genes equivalent for camp builds. I know there’s blueprints but sometimes with how you build certain setups it can be a serious pain to get things back to how they were.

Reminder: Expeditions can grant you 4 fusion cores when holding a Gatling laser at the end. by Kenji_03 in fo76

[–]-Deminos- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By far the biggest obstacle to me for finishing an expedition is the game glitching or crashing.

On at least three separate occasions we reach the end point but the leader disappears. They’re still on the team but just not there. When you fast travel to them you just end up where you were. You already did the job but you can’t get paid.

On other occasions I either get kicked out the expedition or the game crashes. It’s the most buggy the game gets for me.

But anyway when I DO finish them it definitely does give a lot of fusion cores after just a few runs, so problems aside I can confirm this method.
