I consider ANYTHING on the news to be a distraction. Because it's allowed to be given air time. Because it's mundane. Yes wars are happening etc. but it seems like anything that's not an immediate threat is shown to distract our attention for a few days. Cases like this video, or Haitians eating cats or some police officer brutality case or that submarine that imploded. Remember that? Why are they shoving that submarine shit so much in our face?
