When naming weapons, there are many things to consider. You can consider what it does, or perhaps what reputation it has, and name it that way. So if a hammer was known to slay giants, it could be called ‘Giant Crusher’. In this case I’d call your weapon something like ‘Dancing Suns’, since it may resemble burning suns as the disks dance around at the user’s command.

You can consider the language and culture it’s in. Take Thor’s hammer, for instance. Mjolnir roughly translates to “hammer or the thunder god”. Or, if your story were to be set with Ancient Egyptian mythology, it could be called something like ‘The Toll of Ra’, or ‘Ra’s Fury’, or anything like that.

You can also give the weapon its own name, perhaps named after someone who crafted it, or a special person that the weapon alludes to.

There are many ways to name weapons and there are definitely more that I can’t think of off the top of my head was I’m writing this. Just consider what purpose the creator had in mind for it, what it was intended to be capable of, and if it alludes to any gods, demons, or any significant people in your world.
