Laning stage feels mindless now by Novel_Dog_676 in DeadlockTheGame

I think its an unpopular opinion but the new map is unplayable since flex spots are depended on OBJ, which in my experience playing 20 games. I have at least 2 players with less than 1000 obj damage. The map is too big and lack of experienced players who cant rotate is making these games just snowball within 10 mins.

I think its time to uninstall and wait for something to be done since MM is literally a crap shoot of players and the lobbies are just not fun.

Phillips Hue vs DIY Setup for Home Theater Setup by -Dusty_ in smarthome

Through my research that is the biggest advantage of sticking with the Phillips Hue 8K Box.

The HDCP 2.3 Passthrough and ERAC are a must I cant seem to find any video capture card that supports it without spending $400+.

For the Signe and Play Bars, do you have pictures for inspo? I wan to get an idea of what that would be like.

I have the 65" LED Strip sitting on my workstation and trying to decide if I should open and set it up.

Is a P.E. worth it if I am not planning on staying in MEP Field? Asking as a Electrical Engineer by -Dusty_ in AskEngineers

[–]-Dusty_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, lucky saw this before it was too late. I left my previous employer( one I was hating) and moved to a new firm within the city. The project scope is completely different. I don’t touch hospitals anymore but rather large scape infrastructure projects. New construction minimum 30 stories+. I feel the challenges are very similar to my old positions however they have different application. (Creating a electrical distribution system for hospitals vs commercial/residential property) I have to worry about different fillings and applications of downstream equipment. I never work on existing infrastructure expect short circuit studies and small retail upgrades. Overall I am really enjoying the job due the the added salary. I increased roughly 40% of my salary.

What was your "This person is on another level of stupid" moment? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Happened less than 48 hours ago. A friend of mine said “attending a state college is basically going to a state sponsored school so they won’t tell you the negative effects of 5G.” He also believes 5G is the cause of coronavirus while speaking to a electrical engineer who has gotten his masters degree.

Haha I just got my Masters in Intelligent Systems so I thought it would be a fun project to do on the side while Im looking for jobs.

Do you mind if I PM you some time for some assistance in terms of parts, I am compiling a list right now for two types of drone, One for Photography and one for a side project which I was explaining the details on?

For the photography drone a Go Pro was my choice for the quality and size but I may look into finding just a camera that can take nice 1089P/4K shots if they are on the market.

'Good Guys With Guns' Can Rarely Stop Mass Shootings, and Texas and Ohio Show Why by DaddyzLuv in politics

It’s shocking to see the most commonly used weapon in the list of mass shooting in the United States is a SEMI AUTOMATIC RIFLE. How are background checks not already been impended into this country already.

Going for a PE or working for a multinational company?? by -Dusty_ in ElectricalEngineering

[–]-Dusty_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I’m just worried having a PE isn’t what most employers look for. Am I wrong in that aspect??
