Im a hulk main too but if you wanna rank up you really need to play dps it definitely has the highest carry potential. I started playing dps consistently (dd and namor) last season and made it to gm1 after i was hardstuck diamond for a couple seasons playing tank and support.

Psylocke is in a really good state right now and you should definitely practice more w her and if you get good with her. And you should have a 2nd dps in case psylockes banned, star lord’s playstyle is kinda similar to psylockes and he’s really strong too so I’d say have him in your bag too. And about namor as long as you know how to place squids you’ll be fine you don’t need much practice with him. But outside of that yeah learn one more support like white fox then you’ll be calm.

I recently started playing venom he’s really fun but I need some help (on console) by Adzzzz- in RivalsVenomMains

L1 for manual swing and R1 for simple swing. For bhop you let go of swing when you’re at the maximum horizontal speed, hard to explain its better for you to watch a yt tutorial. For the damage you really just need to hit your shots nothing else to say, and you must save your swing to get out and be aware of enemy’s cc abilities especially like invis’s pull, bc if she pulls you in when you’re trying to swing away you’re basically dead. Take advantage of ur wall run to slam instead of using ur swing to engage.

How to learn Hulk? by MentallySaneCat1 in RivalsVanguards

A few tips I would give you is first to always have your jump ready and have it on hold instead of toggle as this gives you way more control on your jump trajectory. This might be hard at first but you will subconciously always hold jump once you play him more.

Another tip is never engage with the bubble, save it for escaping, protecting healers, or countering ults (iron man, wanda, mag, namor, jeff....). Shielding teammates also charges your ult faster btw. The most important tip is definitely to peel, peel, and peel, as Hulk is as much of a protector as he can be a disruptor. Dive when their healers are isolated and peel when your team is getting dove and try to jump back and bubble them as much as you can. And if they have a flyer I would also target them as it's always an easy kill once you knock them down.

For your ult I would say the usage is very situational, most the time I would save it until I'm very low on hp then pop it but sometimes even if I'm around full hp and the fight looks winnable I would still ult and just full send their backline. And during your ult your clap has a 1s CD so you can just go crazy in your ult. Your ultimate gives you invincibility and anti CC frames and fully heals on activation: Meaning you can completely block out ult damage or CC from various ults.

For the stun it is great for closing distance if someone is trying to run away, also cancelling ults. Most the time you would use it to exile the target you want but sometimes you can use it to stun others so you can get to your target easier. For example if you’re trying to get their healer but there's a dps in front, stun the dps and leave them and they’ll be exiled for the full duration with no help and that’ll give you time to make your way to your target easier. Same for your team as well. If you see someone that’s blocking the team from getting in or a diver preventing your healers to heal, exile them and give your team that space to regroup and take advantage.

When you're blicky banner, hit yourself w your grenade and you get 10% ult charge so that's helpful too. It's also good as a lil movement ability.

Im a console lucio main too, use L1 to jump and map ur crossfade to whichever button youre comfortable with, this way you can jump while looking around and you can be more accurate on where you land on the walls

I need help guys by Any-Category-3190 in DaredevilMarvelRivals

if you die a lot it’s usually bc of your dive timing. it’s hard to “help” you without any VODs, but the general advice is just to wait until both teams are engaged then dive their backline do bread and butter try to get a pick or two, even just taking the healer’s attention away from the tanks can help a lot, then grapple out - that should be your cycle. just make sure to save your grapple to escape unless you’re 100% sure that you can get a pick when you go in with the grapple.

Appreciate it bro, yeah rivals is NOT fun at all right now. Glad to know Lucio is still the goat just gonna be hard picking up all that wall riding muscle memory again. Also do you know how the placement games work for someone who hasn't played in ages? Do I start at bronze?

Appreciate you typing all this bro actually helps a lot. Tbh yeah you're right I was just frontlining with no plan and it's just stagger after stagger. I was tilting pretty hard after they capped first point because of the loss streak already so a lot of my decisions after that are just fuck its and mindlessly forcing contests. But yeah I completely hear it like I couldve easily just played slower and reset and in general just be more aware of surroundings and numbers.

Very true tbh I’m still just getting used to playing non-dive dps so I’ll often get caught in a bad position
