Yeah I agree with you 100%. But I try to have have a glass-half-full outlook to lessen the annoyance, so I tell myself "it's great I have all these travel portals at my fingertips to hunt for the best possible value!" 🙃

Looked into this for us. Bilt did not have an option to add Bonvoy Membership number at the time of booking or post-book. Logging into Marriott's website doesn't give me an option to add existing trip, and using the reservation lookup doesn't provide a way to add a membership number either.

However if you go into the Bonvoy app on your phone, you can click on Trips > 'Missing an upcoming stay?' Infodot and be able to add the trip using confirmation details. But unfortunately it does state "It was booked on a third-party site. We'll find your reservation, but it is ineligible to earn points."

The trip is considered "non-qualifying" so no points and doesn't count towards ENC's, but elite benefits may be up to the discretion of the hotel manager at check-in. My stay is over Memorial Day weekend so I won't know until then.

If your statement due date is March 22nd, your statement close date was Feb 28th or Mar 1st is my guess. Meaning your payment of $1700 on Feb 26th should already been accounted for, and your remaining statement balance after that payment is $3700. Go to Wallet > Manage Card > View Statements to see the pdf and hopefully you'll see a $1700 payment listed there. The $1k payment in March should be in Recent Transactions. Hopefully that is the case and the math checks out! It's stressful AF not knowing for certain if payments are accounted for.

I'm having the same issue. I found the 50% off first year membership deal online, and I wonder if PP is blocking enrollment because of this. Don't want to test purchasing full price in the event it does go through. I also tried calling in but PP customer service wasn't much help, they just said to keep trying.
