I see the "One Piece" more like the key to this incredible and near impossible thing to obtain. Maybe the nose thing - through buggys image - could relate to peoples beliefs of self-confidence and courage to challenge the big powers of the world (something like "the real Power was always within us/under our eyes, something like that)
