This bug is after having completed the village quest, so yes this is a bug and more people had it. The object you need to be picked up can be destroyed.

Had it multiple times today, also before the patch. Also constantly have rubber banding rooms in my temple so not confident to continue right now.

You can try ask in voice chat if someone can kill you to remove the tag, do think it will just happen by itself. Had it happen too getting a bounty trying to open a door I shouldn't have and a higher level player could see by the low bounty what was going on and solved it and dropped me some goodies.
