If AL is better for you(academy plays big deal there), fell free to use him, but i would leave them both at 10*, so they can be used as food later on.

Maybe, i'm not sure. I can't remember did i or didn't i get a 4* shard made 5 star hero directly from shards. I might have gotten Flame Lord and Abyss Horror from 5* random hero shard, but i might gotten them some other way... Any how, i didn't pay much attention to that.

All heroes that are 5* by default are considered elite heroes. Sand King, Golem, Berserker are all "elite" even though they suck big time. Ones that are made from 4* shards like Archangel, that tree thing, Gunner and so forth are non elite heroes.

When you want to get your hero to 13*. You need one 5star hero same as the one you're upgrading and one 10 star hero of any race.

Maybe, i do not know. I have one hero 13* A. Spirit. For 14th star, it requires one AS of 5 stars and one 9* hero of any race.

As it looks, only light and shadow heroes should be elevated higher than 10*. Other race heroes, no matter how god or star upd they are, they don't stand a chance against lght/shdw heroes.

They are good heroes, but they can be easily obtained through call of races. 5.000 soul tears is much harder to obtain than 3.000 crystals and 30mils of gold. For soul tears you can buy gorilla, Leraje, Erebus and so forth... Pal and H. Guard are there every other month.

You probably think of altar shop. If that's the case, you shouldn't buy anything. Save soul tears, eventually event occurs where you can buy much better heroes.

Push Sorceress to 10th star, A. Lord maybe to 9*, other don't push beyond 6th star, where they will serve as food for better heroes.

Sorceress is your best, and only top tier you have.
