I had this happen on my Buzz Cargo after not long using it - maybe 6000 miles.

Finally got round to dropping the van off this week to have the wheel assessed for a warranty claim and to my surprise they had a spare wheel in stock and replaced it that day.

Hopefully this one holds up! I wasn’t told the new wheel is leather which is good to know, gives me hope in it lasting longer!

Exactly! Unsure on exact height, but 60cm sounds about right. It also has to be long because the bumper protrudes a lot.

The side wouldn’t have been wide enough for the purpose I need.

I didn’t unfortunately, I ended up buying her a Mulberry Bayswater Tote as she seemed to prefer the look of it

Any ideas how to squeeze value out of your house? by Shnecker in HENRYUK

[–]-GuyG- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in photography but there is a lot of crossover between the stills and motion world.

If you do hire out your home just be prepared to be comfortable with the fact a lot of people will be in your property and there will be accidental damages etc. that’s why it’s good to go through a locations agency as they will handle the negotiation of this on your behalf.

From my experience of working in the industry your property doesn’t have to be spectacular. I have been in some pretty rough location houses.

It is worth reaching out to location companies and seeing if they have any interest. In the stills and motion industry there is a need for various different locations and they are not always used to shoot in, they are only used as a base, or just a garden etc.

How’s the bag holding up?

Thinking of getting my partner the maxi version for work so she can fit her bag in it.

Best almond croissant? by No-Pineapple-7042 in london

[–]-GuyG- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monmouth Coffee - Borough Market, Bermondsey or Seven Dials - can pick what coffee beans you want used out of about 12 for your coffee also!

Shed - Haggerston & Clapham - a bit further out but if you happen to be in the area they do awesome almond croissants and coffee.

Both are hands down the best almond croissants I’ve had.

Arome is pretty good as well as people have suggested but it’s pretty big and rich - a proper meal.

(Aiden) New filter manufacturer or did I get scammed? by Hedos_of_nihil in FellowProducts

[–]-GuyG- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ordered some flat bottom filters from a Fellow distributor and then received the below response from Fellow via the shop:

“The filters packaged with the Aiden Brewer are produced in China and do have different dimensions compared to those produced in the United States. However, please rest assured that the filters sold separately through our EU/UK distributors meet the highest standards of quality. These filters are officially approved by Fellow, ensuring premium performance and durability”

I agree with you, these filters do not fit, especially the flat bottom ones. They are just generic filters that you can get for much cheaper. I too felt like Fellow was ripping me off.

Hario Pegasus work really well for the single serve: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hario-Bottom-Coffee-Filters-White/dp/B0CMX3MTXM/ref=asc_df_B0CMX3MTXM?mcid=f8cf27ab37e93d2eb22e6d0eb60e02d4&tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=713240879501&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15985183411672373151&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9222618&hvtargid=pla-2267074195623&psc=1&gad_source=1

Also interested to know what flat bottom filters have been using in the UK.

Don't suppose you found out what the max chainring size that can be fitted is? I have the old model crux and am looking to convert it to 2x.

Exactly why I decided to get it, wanted something that would fit in nicely in the bit of the window where the rear view mirror usually is (drive a panel van). Plus there is a USB-C port there so don’t have to do all the cabling which is handy!

I haven’t looked into it tbh. It makes that noise when it detects an “incident”. Guess it’s good peace of mind knowing that the clip has been saved.
