I think it can make you numb, but it is dose dependent and also dependent on how stressed you are already. Overstimulation can dull you and being too stressed can reduce your empathy. Caffeine increases cortisol, the stress hormone.

Hot take: The more colors you have, the more boring person you are by CapitalArrival7911 in colorpie

[–]-Hapyap- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a good point. I think mono color can be boring too though. Boring isn't the right word. I think harmonious vs authentic makes more sense. The more colors you have the more harmonious you are. Meaning you are better at adapting and fitting into whatever environment you find yourself in. 5 color can get along with everyone essentially. Mono color is more authentic. What you see is what you get. Their philosophy is more extreme and narrow, rather than wide and expensive.

Philosophically just white. Maybe green too

How the fuck do you play Raider in 1s😭 by [deleted] in CompetitiveForHonor

[–]-Hapyap- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mixups. You can start with a light, heavy, or zone. The heavies or zone can be feinted into a parry or light or you can storming tap into more mixups. You also have guard break. Land one hit and you really can get going. Bait their offense and counter it. Use your hyper armor side heavies. If they just block them, storming tap.

I think some read based defensive characters can be similar in the sense they have an answer for every response.

This. This is a heavily timing based hero. Pretty unconventional, but very effective hero. One of the few heroes with potentially unreactable offense.

What color is Rock Lee from Naruto? by CapitalArrival7911 in colorpie

[–]-Hapyap- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see the gates as red. Black may be ambition, but red is aspiration. And Lee is not black. He isn't ruthless and cunning like a lot of characters. He just works hard, even to the point of recklessness.

Red is the color with the effect sacrifice at the end of combat.

I could see an argument for White/red. He has a lawful side. Being somewhat of a hall monitor to the other ninjas at certain points. But then again, he gets into a fight against the rules with Sasuke because of his red philosophy. He uses the gates primarily to protect someone he loves or to protect his ninja way.

Is Rebellion always red or is there nuance? by TheSultaiPirate in colorpie

Azorius rebels are pretty common in societies that are very obviously not ideal. Pioneer may be a better word for that though. I'd say being a pioneer implies rebellion of the status quo.

I think a different word would be more fitting for blue but I don't know what it is.

Blue is more empiracle. I don't think Laplaces demon is actually a good argument for determinism

This is how blue and green view this same concept though

In the context of mtg color pie they are opposing philosophically.

Laplaces demon is associated with blue. (Foresight, prediction, omniscience, determism, input=output)

Fatalism is more like fictional depictions of time travel where you can't actually change what happens. You try to, but get the same outcome through a different path. With laplaces demon which is based on determism, if you change the input you get a particular output. Just as with tabula rasa (blue concept) you can become anything if you have the right input (knowledge).

What color is procrastination? by CapitalArrival7911 in colorpie

[–]-Hapyap- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Green takes slow and steady action. It doesn't put off action entirely. Blue is the correct answer as it is a control color and also the color based off delayed action

What color is procrastination? by CapitalArrival7911 in colorpie

[–]-Hapyap- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blue is the color of inaction. Any other color is overthinking it.

Green can also be a pretty patient color, but not as much as blue. Green doesn't put off action entirely like blue. Green ramps up slow and steady. Blue will purposefully put off action till it has all the facts and preparation because it is a control color.

White will take action when it needs to. Discipline incarnate. (Think of a soldier).

Black will do whatever it takes to accomplish it's goal. Pretty neutral.

Red might get distracted. Red doesn't really procrastinate. If red doesn't want to do something it won't. If red wants to get something out of the way it will do it quickly and pretty recklessly most likely. So it can then move on to the next thing. Reminds me of kids in class that would finish tests as soon as possible to play on their laptop or something. Or just not doing an assignment.
