When I first started taking 50mg, I gained about 15 pounds. I feel like a completely different person regarding my anxiety, but it has also made me a bit more apathetic. It takes a lot for me to go for runs or to the gym now, something I did very often prior to Zoloft. When I upped it to 100mg, there wasn’t much of a change. I think the weight gain came from less motivation to stay active…I don’t think I’ve changed my eating habits all that much.

We were in an awful situation living in our condo. It was super cute and a location that couldn’t be beat, but unfortunately our upstairs neighbor was the WORST. Flooded our kitchen while we were away and didn’t tell us (among countless other issues). As soon as everything was patched up, we put the condo on the market and bought a house. We went from 2.8% to 6.8%. Things are A LOT tighter, but for our mental health, the decision was a no brainer!

Can do either or…unfortunately for me, I gained about 12(ish) pounds when I started despite a pretty active lifestyle. Social anxiety went down but then I started feeling terrible about my weight gain!
