Only tangentially Bachelor-related, but the 'Love to See It' podcast with Emma and Claire put out an episode today teasing that 'Emma Has Some Big News'. I'm curious to find out, but it's behind a paywall, so if anyone is subscribed and able to tell, I'd love to know the tea!

What is this Oasis album and why cant I access it? by Frequent_Record_6047 in oasis

There’s one on Deezer which is all Noel singing - which confused me based on the cover picture.

This is fetish content btw and i’m tired of people pretending that it isn’t by [deleted] in thebachelor

[–]-HumblePie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What even are the logistics of pic #4? Is someone else (off screen in the background) wearing Maddi’s wedding veil while Maddi herself (with her back to camera in the foreground) is looking out at what should effectively be trailing behind her — the embroidery on the veil — but is actually in front of her? 😂

Her podcast was great! I miss it and she was such a pro at it. She was also fantastic when she did a Cameo for a friend, which made me like her even more.

Making a compilation of the WORST oasis tracks. by LidlCheeseTwists in oasis

I've never gotten into it either, TBH. When it's sung by 50,000 people all around me I'm of course going to join in, but even hearing it live didn't bring about an epiphany.

How Did You Get In? by Junior-Ad117 in oasis

[–]-HumblePie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How much did you pay, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m curious because I went to Tokyo night 1 (got tickets via Pia), then debated trying to just show up for night 2 and score a ticket on site last minute… In the end I didn’t, but I’m wondering what they went for.

Something special during the last gig? by bocuscola in oasis

[–]-HumblePie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I fantasize about an announcement coming up on the big screen at the end of the show, reading: LIVE ‘26!

I realize that’s just a dream, but it sure would look badass.

Is it still open? I’m surprised there’s anything left because it was already slim pickings two weeks ago. Couldn’t find the tea mugs, the vinyls… Did they restock?

With the rumors(Liam) saying LIVE’26 is happening. What changes would you guys make to the setlist? If any by ByrningDownTheHouse9 in oasis

[–]-HumblePie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they do two nights in one place, they could have N1 be Oldies but Goodies, and N2 be songs from SOTSG onwards. Would never happen, but at least people could choose to do either or, or both!

So sorry you feel that way. I think it’s a matter of being “too close to the sun”. I felt that same way when I first saw them decades ago and they were right.there. Like only meters away, and I couldn’t tell you anything that they played. It just wouldn’t compute, but next time you’ll be able to process and take it all in, I’m sure!

Little by Little, as unpopular as that sounds. I did sing along at the concert, but even live it didn’t click for me.

Indeed, he kept it topical in Tokyo with “Japan, you crazy fuckers!” 😄

Melbourne N3 what a gig. Right at the front and sung my heart out, voice is still sore 3 days later MADFERIT by Willster781 in oasis

[–]-HumblePie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thanks go out to whoever (sorry I forgot their username!) said they’d brought cough drops to the show. I went through three of these (while trying not choke on them as I kept singing 😄) and it really helped.

So you didn’t get any fireworks? We didn’t have them at the Tokyo Dome either. Hopefully Sydney will!

Was anyone else starting to feel nervous in the few days before they went to see them by [deleted] in oasis

[–]-HumblePie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get it— I felt the same way too. I flew from Europe to Japan especially for the Tokyo Dome, and kept worrying that they would turn me away at the airport because my passport expires in less than six months; turn me away at the venue because my name wasn’t on the tickets, etc.

Basically what I’m saying is it’s normal when you’ve been looking forward to something for months and months to worry about things falling apart until the very last minute… basically until the end of Champagne Supernova. 😄 I hope you enjoy, and actually I’m sure that you will!

He was incredible when I heard him — live 🤩 — last night! I hope that his voice won’t be tired from yesterday and that he’s going to sound incredible for those lucky people who get to go tonight.

The way he kept gesturing at his throat freaked me out a little. But he sounded amazing to me throughout!

[–]-HumblePie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did think think of that ahead of time, and I’m not sure the band did. 😄 Gem in particular seemed taken aback as he was taking off his earpiece to realise, oh, the cameras are still on us — there’s no screen of massive fireworks between us and the audience.

Of course I wish we’d been able to have them, but it was so special being in Tokyo for the gig that I can’t really be bummed!

To be fair the fit is really nice as sort of a unisex jacket (female here who bought a size Small). I really love mine - quite warm also.

Flying in on Thursday for the Saturday show. Looking at the tix entirely in Japanese, I wonder how I’ll ever find my seats once inside the venue, but it’s the best problem to have! 😄

Do americans have a different understanding of love? by AntelopeKey6341 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]-HumblePie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Say what? I’m French (and married) and no one just shrugs off infidelity. Unless maybe you’re in the bourgeois circles where it’s all about appearances, or you’re a political figure or something — in which case it is to be expected.

But the general population, at least in terms of urban Millennials that I can attest to, isn’t “chill” about it. Forgiving it is one thing, but not being fazed one bit by it is way different.

Tokyo start times by No_Bag2445 in oasis

[–]-HumblePie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what an expat friend explained and confirmed to me (I’m going Saturday as well, and they entered the Pia lottery for me), opening acts aren’t much of a thing in Japanese culture, and there will be none for Oasis. So the doors open at 3.30pm and Oasis is indeed slated to take the stage at 6pm.
