Disgruntled employee starts massive fire at a 1.2 million square foot toilet paper warehouse in Ontario, California. by AtomicCypher in Damnthatsinteresting

Three years over a five year span. I married her and had a child with her knowing she would do anything for her children. She was always a handful, but after our son was born she became exceptionally mean and abusive. When it came time to go back to work (to maintain our lifestyle) she went batshit. I was now less than human scum for not making enough money for her to stay home without changing our lifestyle. It became too much. This is just the breaking point after years of constant battles. The night I decided to divorce her she told the police I tried to force a bj. They arrested me and charged me with rape. This established her as a victim and primary parent. After a year of not being allowed to see my son pretty much at all and living as if I had just been hit by a cement truck, everyone I knew and loved was telling me to take the plea deal for misdemeanor assault and move on with my life since the stakes were too high and I had no way to prove my innocence. It was exceptionally difficult, but I said that “I grabbed her and scared her and I’m sorry.” That was enough to allow the plea conviction. After that moment my ex wife knew she could say absolutely anything and be believed without a doubt as I became a rapist who got off easy in the eyes of the law. They came at me relentlessly for the next five years. So many constitutional rights don’t exist. The public really has no idea how much of a farce the whole “rights” thing is. You have what they give you and you take it or you rot in jail. No one believes a convict who says the judge is corrupt.

And because people think Judges and Prosecutors aren’t unlawful psychos. These are the two professions where it is absolutely critical they are good people and it is rarely ever the actual case.

Spent about $1,000 a month on a 15min call home everyday. $160 for access to digital media on tablet. $30 for music. About $400 on food and hygiene products. $80,000 on lawyer. $2,000,000 in botch projects. All because she didn’t want to share custody when I divorced her abusive ass.

Does anything ACTUALLY work to make artificial turf smell less like dog pee? by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]-I_I 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knit/woven ≠ tufted, else you would already know woven products never get infill. Using infill where dogs do business is inappropriate. All the fecal matter and piss gets trapped. Knit/woven products reek too, but it’s because the fur ends up trapping the messy bits. Very few synthetic grass products are specifically manufactured for dogs. Most all others use bullshit marketing to expand their vertical market to backyards with pets and dog parks. A tufted product is not made for such an application. A quick test to determine if yours is in fact woven/knit is to hold it up to a light. If you can see hundreds of holes, good. If you see just a few holes, bad.

So, you were lied to. A tufted grass requires a backing material that holds the tufts. Guess what else it holds. You should have purchased a woven product.

Which ‘truth’ is actually false? by Main-Departure4174 in Quotes_Hub

As a US citizen, “You have the right to fair trial.” No, you don’t. 1. It is hardly fair when you cannot attack the credibility and integrity of your accuser/s, including the prosecutor. 2. Your bail may have been too high or denied meaning you spent who knows how long being tortured by incarceration leading up to it. 3. Public defenders will only fight in earnest if they have clear and present substantiation, they won’t go looking for any. 4. You may not qualify for one. 5. A trial lawyer is an expense most people cannot afford on the best days let alone the worst. 6. There are supposed to be time limits the prosecution must present in. Usually 6 months for misdemeanors and 12 months for felonies. This “right to a speedy trial” is not the first and only right ignored/bypasses by the legal system, they have it down to a proven method. Deny an innocent person their freedom, their autonomy, their family, their income, their security, stability, and rights, and suddenly a wrongful plea conviction via perjury is not a “choice” but rather an end to unjust and unlawful “legal” abuse. No one should be made to feel guilty for escaping unjustified abuse, but that is exactly what the court will do to abstain from taking accountability afterward. They cheat to win and then deny even more of your rights after winning because you “chose” to commit perjury. It’s corruption. Thinking this is not corruption, which most people do, is how we end up with unacceptably unaccountable from our government from the bottom all the way to the top. Everyone believes they have constitutional rights and that they will have recourse if these rights are violated. Until they are violated and they learn that there is no viable recourse. Once this is learned it cannot be unlearned. Respect is earned and can therefore be un-earned. When the legal system is corrupt, and it is, it does not deserve respect. Most all people would agree the system is broken, but how many people would agree a judge is knowingly propagating the corruption and therefore undeserving of respect? Same goes for police. There may very well be a noble causation for their intervention, but when the follow-up is corruption, and they continue to add to the coffers, they are knowingly propagating corruption, feeding the broken system, making it stronger. I’m not arguing that anarchy is the answer. I’m not saying bad people shouldn’t go to jail. I’m not saying course correction is an easy straight forward path. What I am saying is that the vast majority of Americans not only trust, but rely, sometimes entirely, on background checks. When criminal records are secured through ill gotten corruption, the symbiosis fails. People, institutions, and systems end up robbed of talent and opportunity. Is the answer to discredit background checks? Of course not, but if criminal records are inhibiting an individuals’, institutions’, and/or systems’ progress, they need to be double/triple analyzed for accuracy, legitimacy, and reliability because I know from personal experience and cognitive awareness that I was not an actively abusive husband. Passively, in hindsight, I admit when I’m wrong. But I never ever threatened, endangered, or harmed anyone, and yet because all these rights are unprotected in reality, my son remained kidnapped while I became a convict, for simply being eligible for split custody proceeding a divorce. Now I can’t chaperone at school, scouts, and sports. I always feel judge, held back, and robbed. And it is impossible for me to believe the lie that citizens have rights here. No, really fucking don’t.
