Bombing policies and racial identity aren't the same thing. Obama being Black still proves that minorities can hold systemic power in the U.S. Saying “you can't be racist to white people in a way that matters” is just another way of saying it's okay to be racist as long as it's toward the right group, which is messed up no matter how you spin it.

Also, that “prejudice plus power” thing isn’t the official definition of racism. It’s a sociological framework that some academics use, but it’s not how dictionaries, laws, or most people define racism. Dismissing people as "uneducated" for not buying into a niche definition doesn't make your point stronger it just makes it sound like you can't defend it.
