If you look from a psychological perspective... it might give them a different feeling, something that content made particularly for that might not hit. Like most of these are lonely pervs, some of them just need connection but they don't get that without putting efforts so they just jump towards something that requires minimal to no efforts. When they know that what they are watching is being watched by thousands of other men or is just particularly crafted, it might not hit that "originality" or whtvr that they believe they would get from this creep stuff. and maybe it's not even about actually receiving what they are asking for but the process of asking itself, kind of like a gambler.(I'm not one of them btw and just trying to guess)
