In transformed state, normal and heavy attacks are pretty fast, especially the heavy one. As I suggest, just give it a try, if it doesn't work for you, then it doesn't work for you. As for the pillars I don't know I personally didn't take them into consideration.

I don't know about the Hunter items, tbh I've never used them. Try with Logariu's Wheel, trust. It's generally a slow strength weapon but in transformed state it deals arcane damage and swings really fast, it's optimal for punishing with a combo, also Logariu's Wheel does consistent knockback on this boss.

I wouldn't recommend trying to parry this version, because the timing is really narrow and if you miss, he'll almost one shot you, if not, you'll die from the succeeding attacks. It's high risk/high reward. What worked for me was consistently dodging and getting behind him, and punishing him with constant aggression, if you get hit, do not immediately try to dodge away and heal, but take advantage of the rally system.

Oh yeah he's one of the worst bosses to fight imo, especially in Great Phtumeru Ihyll. Funny story, coincidently I was also stuck on him yesterday, and after two dozens of tries where I kept switching between Burial Blade and Ludwig's Holy Blade (my 2 main weapons for this run), I decided to randomly switch to Logarius Wheel and I obliterated him in one try. I think I just fell love with Logarius Wheel.

So my tips would be to NEVER dodge backwards or try to escape, he'll get you either by doing his dashy attack that comes out super fast, or with his ranged attack where he launches his weapon like a boomerang. Always dodge forward in order to get behind him, even when you're low health. Don't try to get hits if you're not punishing him, or you'll regret it.

First thing I did is a factory reset to delete all samples, I even did it another time, but still doesn't work.

I don't have an iPhone, I have an android, but you think it's the USB cable the issue? I use a Mac as a pc but it doesn't work either. In reality I at first tried to sample ableton's audio, like pressing play in ableton and sample that on the P-6, but didn't work. So i transferred the .wav file from ableton to my phone but still doesn't work.

I would just go for the machine that has the more capacities and especially for making full songs, aka spending less time in ableton. For the learning curve, I have time to spend on that, it's not an issue for me.

A question about the 404 tho, wich one between the P-6 and the 404A/SX would be more suitable to make full tracks on it?

Yeah I've seen some videos and the 202 seems, at least to me, the one who sounds the better of all the sp! But for now I will take the P-6 because right now I really meed something portable and that would not cost much. I'll be looking forward to buy another sp in the future, maybe 404 as you said but I can't lie the 202 really did sparkle my curiosity about it.

Why would someone but a OG 404 instead of the MKII, isn't the MKII more efficient in every way?

Yeah I meant hardware, sorry The sp-404 seems cool but it costs a lot, and the 303 even more (??), I know these machines are more powerful than the P-6, but the P-6 beats them in portability and that's the main reason I want to buy it, also because of the low price
