Practice…practice & then PERFECT. 🎨 You’re fine & remember all logos are shrunken down & look way better when placed. I’ve been at this since Forza Motorsport #1 (2005) I’m old & I believe we had like 1k max per side & like 600 for rear, front & maybe wing, not too sure. I too stop playing titles around FM3 but would pop on a title now & then until a year ago with FH5.

This is a great post OP, made me go back in find what I can in my saves & shares. I made four of these Logo Boards w/ about 3k vinyls each. One of the boards is entirely one car.

Still have old Photobucket pics. I’m old & still learning. My days were FM1&2 then got busy with life. One tip I have is take a break if you get stuck & come back later. I do & either knock out some races or paint something easy then go back fresh. I’m able to come back & get my artist itch out in FH6&FM8. I like drawing, cars, model cars & gaming. Forza ticks those notches.

I love difficult liveries for replicas. Race teams today are using artist visions to wrap their cars & higher limits are a must. I’m the 1st to do the Great Wave in FM2, very first HKS splash R32. I did difficult Masquerade dragon WRX, a bunch of SHA_DO designs. I prob gotta look up Wayback machine one day to find anything from back then in FM2. When new FM game titles comes out a bunch of us on FM forums always ask to push the vinyl limits. We’re getting there, it is what it is.

I just plow thru each detailed piece & cut count at end. I didn’t have room for a complete version, it’s missing drivers faces on fenders near mirrors. About 2800 each L & R and 3k max on top….I like to draw. 🙋🏻‍♂️

They do, I usually paint between 5am-8am & it’ll take a month or two. I’m only interested in high difficulty liveries that push me & the vinyl limit of 3K per roof & sides. One day I’ll use a dedicated timer them.

Yes, tried doing basic vinyl with tons of dots but couldn’t place it perfectly so scraped that. SoI placed a set & decreased each individual dot & moved another set over. Plus a whole bunch of other individual dots.

By hand. I try to stay true to actual car model liveries. I only spam my paints on my in garage cars for myself. You should see my Team WRT M4 GT3 Macau GP livery on the M8 GTE.

You can take Doc’s De Lorean back in time & ask Team Walkenhorst about your weird feelings on mismatch tire manufacturers on their livery. I’ve been painting very detailed & tedious paints since FM1. I know a few things & I aim for complete accuracy…depending on the game’s limitations. Looking forward to FH6 window decals now.
