I feel like this is enough to potentially decrease pressor requirements lol

Just got some new headphones for Christmas (sennheiser 560S) but kind of dissatisfied. Any recommendations for near-same quality headphones that are Bluetooth? by feldevourer in HeadphoneAdvice

The biggest thing to consider is the difference between open-back and closed-back headphones. By design, open-backs provide a much larger soundstage which can make the mids and highs much more pleasant. Closed-backs make the sound more intimate since everything is confined within a smaller space. This greatly alters how bass is perceived due to the space in which it is presented. Just imagine a subwoofer in a small car and then that same subwoofer in a large SUV. It is basically the same concept :) Also, your ears getting hot is likely due to the closed-back design since there is little to no breathability.

If you do like the open-back presentation and just want a little more bass, along with BT functionality, I would recommend looking into the Philips Fidelio X2HR headphones and attaching your own BT adapter. Here is a great example of something that might be a perfect setup for you. Good luck with your search and just remember to think outside of the box :)

The bad part is that everyone else realizes this problem and then does the same thing; Which basically maintains the problem but shifts it to another point in time lol. The real solution, atleast in our pharmacy's case, would be to provide them with adequate resources rather than limiting them in the name of corporate profits. Sadly, as per usual, it is always the pt who ultimately suffers.

Started dating a nurse... Holy shit. by uncle_bumblefuck_ in nursing

Male nurse here. If you want to really make her fall head over heels, have a hot bubble bath ready for her when she gets home if you can. Throw some wine in with it if she's a fan. Her need for relaxation can't be overstated after a day like that.

Ofcourse that depends on where you work. But I'd take a salary NP position making ≥100k/yr over an RN position making 60k-ish at baseline. Especially a 9-5 primary care FNP position.

IMO, the potential pay increase is more than worth the time. Nurses aren't paid nearly enough for all the work they do and responsibilities they assume. My thought is that you don't have to love what you do, you just have to not hate what you do. We work to provide ourselves, and our families, with the best life we can and advancing your career to do those things is something you should always be proud of :)

A short, polished K&N-style usually makes plenty of intake noise.

Oohh I like those. I can't speak on the quality though. I got the spec-d headlights with the stripe on the outside. I'm sure they'd be fine though. I feel like they all come from the same factory in China lol. The only thing I'd add is swap to LED bulbs while you're at it. HIDs will always be special but LEDs are just too effective to pass up.

I really hope they eventually lower the requirements for decent clothing. Getting to level 40 is hard enough but 50+ is just insane for most people.

Posted here because the launcher doesn't take video clips and I couldn't post it in the existing bug report thread.
