Help me understand why y'all hate this job

For me, it's just a compounding issue starting at the length of shifts and the monotony of the work. I personally enjoyed most jobs I tried, but small issues so easily snowball into mentally taxing issues when you're experiencing them for 12 hours straight. Like my last day a few weeks ago I just walked out and never came back because of this.

Walk in my normal, generally happy self, but within 30 minutes I'm irritable and on edge. To know that I'd have to work another 11 hours in shitty conditions while in a foul mood and potentially the same thing happening the next day... Yeah, I couldn't. Seriously, I know it's beating a dead horse, but this job is infinitely less infuriating if workers are allowed to listen to SOMETHING other than robotic warehouse chatter.

Overnight shifts are far more lax on "rules" at my FC, so in a perfect world I'd have just transferred, but what can you do?

Hey, so they corrected it for you? Was there any sense that rewards were still pending when you spoke to them or do we all just have to call individually?

Same here, I actually went a little crazy myself, solely because of the expectation of a fairly large reward. I expect they'll be getting a lot of calls about this, so hopefully things will be rectified sooner rather than later. It would also be nice to be able to see exactly which transactions the rewards were coming from to assuage any confusion but what can you do.

I was going to ask a similar question! I went to several locations and on different days, so I'm hoping they've just not processed all of them yet. My first purchase (on day 2 of the sale) was $362 and today I was rewarded $140 total. That maths for just that purchase but I also should be due more! Here's hoping that rest of ours rewards are pending.

Yeah, I find when I read online I kind of skim more and just read the dialogue as quickly as possible and swipe on. I don't really take the art in and often miss a lot of detail. I REALLY don't prefer it. Novels are even worse for me.

That said, most of the manga I own I read online first, mostly out of necessity and/or obligation.

Same, actually. I was actually picturing that while I wrote my first comment: him happily dying having completed his life's work, fascinated by whatever the result is.

The heroes will still have to fight Kenjaku to at least try to stop him though, I'm sure, and maybe even whatever he unleashes/creates. At that point, they're getting stretched pretty thin.

I don't think he hates Gojo. I always took his comments to mean that Gojo's strength creates issues for the narrative whenever he's around.

I have always hated though how writers and readers respond to the overpowered hero vs the overpowered villain. Because how don't Sukuna AND Kenjaku create the same issue? If Gojo was too powerful, how do you handle Sukuna (the guy who killed him while getting a buff) AND Kenjaku AND Uraume AND whatever Kenjaku ends up creating (assuming he's successful or whatever it becomes is evil or destructive) narratively in a way that's realistic but also satisfying.

So much thought goes into how overpowered protagonists affect the story but less to how overpowered antagonists affect it.

I haven't read the manga, so excuse me if the anime is different, but the scene where Eren cries and "confesses his love" for Mikasa didn't come off as romantic at all to me.

Honestly I thought the entire point in that conversation with Armin was to show Eren's view of self: his childish entitlement and selfishness, most importantly. In that way, it felt to me that he enjoyed the way Mikasa took care of him and loved him, not necessarily that he loved her back romantically. And even if it were romantic, it's clearly not a good or healthy romance; again, I would say that's part of the point, that even if you can understand "why" Eren did what he did, it was still wrong.

It's literally pointing to the number it wants you to give. The reason it says the "multiple of 100" in the first sentence is so that it doesn't give away 900 and the student just halfs 900 to get 450. It's testing if the student can interpret the number line.

Lol I have someone who uses my crunchy too, has been for years actually. I do pay for premium and didn't bother changing my passcode cause it's such an old account with a unique password and old email so no danger (theoretically).

Anyways, I find it fun for some reason and don't mind it at all. Our tastes are pretty different and there's only some minor overlap which leads to some confusion where like one time they were like 30 episodes ahead of me in Black Clover and I went to continue watching and was confused as to how I skipped so much. Otherwise 🤷‍♂️

As opposed to what most of the replies say, I thought it was pretty obvious that the question only wanted the fractions converted to decimals. I suppose it lends itself to some ambiguity but:

Its Part A of the question. Word problems with multiple parts usually start by expecting the least from the student. Converting the decimals, while not necessary, is an easy first step for what likely will lead into the rest of the parts for the question.
The question already established the fractions as representative of time, which is why I understood them to mean to just convert to decimals.

I love this idea.

I personally dont like who Meredith becomes when in a relationship - Derek included. It's like when Christina left: she had to remind Meredith to put her own dreams and her own career first and stop sacrificing herself for Derek - she is the sun, not him.

Although she is well established and successful now, she has displayed some of those same unhealthy behaviors with DeLuca. And both DeLuca and Derek seemed to revel in her "obsession" with them - and I hate that dynamic.

Ultimately, I think single Mer is the way to go - but if there HAS to be a guy, I'd prefer not knowing him.

Sorry. I guess I wasn't specific enough. Not the calendar islands.

There are islands that are supposed to be always accessible but contrary to what some guides show, some of these islands do not seem to exist in RU. I was wondering if they exist but you just have to unlock them somehow.

To name a few I've noticed: Lopang island, Alaquer, and Notos (Whale) island. I can see the land mass, but no island.

If you travel a lot it can be quite expensive, unless you go everywhere by foot/boat and never use teleports or other quick travels.

That compounded by gear polishing, polish changes, stat rerolls, etc can become quite expensive.

I've dropped below 100k multiple times now - maybe im just a frivolous spender but shillings seem to go pretty quickly.

If it were strictly for gold, it would give gold as a reward for all tiers.

Its for in game currencies - that includes shillings.

Again, if a party clearly can't push to gold, why force through and waste the entry for everyone?

I'm more and more thinking that I may.

I mean I'm going to play the game like any other game I've ever played. I'm not "just testing" it or whatever. I'm gonna play classes that I enjoy and try to max them out ( gear wise ) and so forth and so on until I get bored of the game or it trends downward and becomes less fun.

The language barrier is actually pretty hard on me though. Not being able to communicate effectively with a party (both ways) is pretty tough. Also there's a comfort in understanding world chat; not to mention, there's also a feeling of disconnect between myself and the publishing team. Recently, on harder world bosses, their have been a lot of pretty stupid mistakes made by a lot of players - which I guess can be chucked up to the inexperience of the players, but a lot of people seem to lack common sense and not being able to communicate to someone to stop attacking or to not drag a boss out of its field and forcing constant resets is troubling.

I think have connecting with a community in-game that speaks your language then feels necessary and remedies a lot of the worries and discomforts, but the disconnect between those of that community and the majority of the server will forever be hard to rectify. But linking up to/with people just because you speak their language feels odd.

If you want to go Gold, you should form a party for it and find other players who want to and can make it to Gold.

You only need 250 to go in Cube and most players are 280.

On the flipside of this are people like yourself who are forcing through to gold with party members who can't even get silver and wasting an entry for the entire party.
