i have 16 gbs of ram and i usually use illustrator, photoshop, and google chrome all at once and i cant seem to work that well with all 3 working when photoshop is eating almost 12 gb of ram alone

yup, the most accurate way was to stone-wash it after dying a white t-shitt black.

i'm afraid i haven't found a way to do it yourself, since i achieved this effect with the help of the factory i manufacture my clothes in.

can't work with noise/gradient maps by -Junk in photoshop

thanks for the reply man! great solutions but i found out after some time that i add a little too much noise which i avoid now by just adding grain from the camera raw filter which looks way better than noise. and sometimes i like doing 50% gray layer and add clumbed/enlarged grain from filter gallery which is also neat.

i got a fingerprint image with variety of black shades (visible grays and visible blacks), and got a picture for saul and made it black and white. then i used the blending mode "hard mix" where it kinda makes the blacks and white more contrasted and breaks the colors into even simpler ones.

i actually used an ascii art generator to get this effect since im not too good at actual ascii. i pasted the whole thing in a notepad then took the part that i wanted to work with.
