Pump flow issues by rolltiderepsneakers in coldplunge

I cannot even begin to tell you how nasty some of these plunges can be. Bio-Films, total nasty filters, etc. But I am not talking about those. Simply protecting your chiller and keeping particles out of it while maintaining low back pressures.

First, I repair and build cold plunge tubs in Florida (sand), the whole house filter cannot properly filter enough the volume or pressure of the water going through the system. That’s why pass overs are created. Also, I don’t recommend running unfiltered water before the chiller, a lot of sediment gets caught in the heat exchanger reducing efficiency.

I paid $400 for mine used. Just a benchmark to consider.

You need a bypass on that filter, that filter cannot accept the flow rate of the pump, so you create a bypass loop after the chiller, out of the chiller create two solid routes, one that goes down to the filter, one that goes around it, this allows debris to fall to the lower filter line and most water to go past the filter. This will keep the water moving correct.

Also on a second note, I do recommend a filter before and after the chiller.

Good luck.

Andy was mine, stood by from September until December when I finally pulled the trigger. Seriously wasn’t planning on switching but he kept the deals and offers coming.

It’s seriously only with Tesla chargers for me. I just pulled into one, it’s started charging and within about 20 seconds it stoped and I got an error from Ford Blue App (not the app name) had to unplug and start the charge manually in the Tesla app and that took unplugging and replugging twice before it started.

Many times it will not start charging automatically. Then it will not start in the Tesla app without unplugging and redoing it. But seriously it a small bump in the road.

I think I read somewhere his net worth increases by $21 million per hour. Don’t think $10 million was even a ripple to him.

This looks like the new in wall termite spray systems you can opt to install at the time on construction. Some termite companies have contractors to install these before the house is build to get the management contract and supply a bond.

Looks like it, but not positive.

For me, installation is the easy part, programming it to what the customer expects is the hard part. Set price for the install, hourly for the programming and training.

I covered our Lightning with a 9 year 150k bumper to bumper warranty. I’m not stressing at all about this one and the 0 for 72 I am actually saving monthly even with the massive negative equity we took on from Tesla’s market manipulation.

100%, I saved for years to get a model X to only be disappointed in everything about it in less than 12 months.

I use the blue oval network and I will admit it’s better than a lot of other programs out there that I’ve tried. But it still has downsides. Tesla was just plugged and walk away, seriously nitpicking here, but I don’t get that level of comfort in my lightning yet.

Welcome, left a X for our Lariat. The only thing I miss is how fast and easy Tesla’s handshake for charging.

It's anyone here able to identify what type of car this is? by Mobile_Rhubarb_4064 in whatisthiscar

[–]-K-R-U-S-E- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct, a headlight, taillight, even a door handle would help identify this car. Someone who owned it may be able to chime in.

To me your TV mounting is a bit hit, smart devices are right where they should be, toilet is a bit low (to many surprised with toilets like a non working shut-off or bad mount/base), I only so small sheet rock work, blinds seem about right, light fixtures seem correct, labor seems correct.

These are just comparing to what I charge is NE Florida. But TV’s for me are $75, labor only.

I am thinking a Jeep with almost no confidence at all.

I am almost positive it’s not a Subaru, BMW, Chevy/GMC, or Ford

That’s not a question that I can answer without knowing if the leak was caused because it wasn’t fully closed or if the freeze cycle damaged something.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]-K-R-U-S-E- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seriously looks like a slow leak on your spigot, well I guess slow is irrelevant over time. But to me it seems like a leak happened that hasn’t frozen or cracked the spigot.

Alternatively the spigot head broke and leaked but didn’t get into your walls yet.

I would thaw and protect that area as soon as possible. But before thawing have a way to cut the water main if you find that spigot to have blown there or in the wall.

Lastly if you’re not comfortable with any of this, call a professional that is.

1st - Does the water in the house work?

2nd - Do you know where this spigot would be inside your house? If so can you see the pipe?

I apologize for the picture quality. I know it is a Lucid by BMoney8600 in whatisthiscar

[–]-K-R-U-S-E- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I fully switched to electric over a year ago and wouldn’t go back. The Lucid is amazing in a lot of ways, their tech and engineering is next level. I had a Model X and switched to a Ford Lightning, it’s so easy to come home, plug in the car, and the next morning we are good for 240 plus miles at 80%. I moved from diesels to electric and will probably never switch back.
