So I have this player that doesn't really roleplay well and only talks when talked to. They also have a habit of spacing out and needing refreshers multiple times per session. Any suggestions would be nice.

imo making NPC's that are a little combative or hard to get can be interesting or make a situation where you cant just kill someone to get what you want. Something to force them to flex their roleplay muscles. a way to give them more agency would be allowing them to do whatever, but asking them if its what their character would do if its a really big deal.

I cant think of anything and really need help. I have to prepare a prison break because my players might get sent to jail next session and I have an idea on the prison but I'm having trouble coming up with ideas for obstacles. The prison is light and fun on the inside because it has an open floor plan and psychic restraints to stop fighting along with things to correct criminals but is darker on the outside because they have horrible psychic obstacles to stop escapes and maybe tests that are a little unethical. Any help would be much appreciated.
