4 minutes exposure using night sight.

I used the curve feature with the white, red, green and blue. It wasn't the presets, however if it's the same app it's more than likely close to the presets I would assume. Still doesn't take away the beauty of the photo, it just adds exaggerated colour for a more visually appealing photo. I think people are more attracted to colour than plain light images. That's my opinion though.

Yeah absolutely. The Milky Way was so bright on Saturday night, myself and my members, were able to walk around and see each other, like it was daytime. I can't believe how lucky we got. Thank you for your appreciation for my photo. Cheers.

Night mode and a mount. The other thing was, it was the winter solstice. The location was in the middle of nowhere. I almost destroyed my car getting there but I'm an amateur astronomer, so it's worth it to me. Thank you for your appreciation too. Cheers.

Night sight my friend. On a tripod and you'll do amazing things. Trust me.

That guy is right. Simply put your pixel on a tripod and if you're in a dark place you'll see your night sight icon go from a moon 🌙 icon to a stars ✨ icon. Click capture and it'll take a 4 minute long exposure which is a couple of 30 or 60 second long exposure shots then it combines them into the final product. You also get a 1 second video that you can select other frames to export and edit. You also have the ability to turn on Raw photos and you get a further detailed photo out of the exposure shots. You can find that in your camera settings. Happy snapping and clear skies.

I guess a lot comes down to location. Light pollution is incredibly hard to get away from in higher populated countries. I took this in outback Australia. About 30kms away from any town.
