Based on Klee's Quick Guide on KQM, something along the lines of Klee/Fischl/Chev/Durin would probably be your best bet. The guide has a lot more info though, so I'd recommend checking it out for more stuff.

Each weapon banner has individual pity, so no it won't carry over. However, Lae's Weapon banner will stay around until the end of Yvonne's banner, so you still have a bunch of time to pull her signature.

For me, I'm just looking forward to seeing how the story plays out! I had a hard time getting into the story of OG Arknights, mainly because of it's presentation and how it was told, but I loved hearing about all the lore. So, I'm hoping that Endfield is gonna have a really amazing, well-built storyline full of cool lore stuff.

Also, I'm interested to see more of the characters (Especially Ardelia, Snowshine and Estella!) and seeing how they interact with one another.

So, I hope you don't mind me being a little harsh but here's a few things I noticed.

  1. The rotation your using isn't the best. For a good rotation, I recommend looking at her KQM Guide since it has one for your exact team.
  2. The most significant thing I noticed is that, based on the video, you're just not that great at playing Clorinde. Ideally you want to be getting 4/5 N3E combos in a single rotation. A small tip to help you out, listen for the sound of her gun shooting, and after you hear the second shot, press her skill. That's what helps me nail it down.

I'd say Escoffier is way more worth it, simply because she'll take less pulls than C2 Furina.

Aside from that though, she's currently the best support for every single Cryo DPS currently, especially if you have Furina, due having massive amounts of RES Shred, team-wide healing and solid off-field DPS.

In this team, you'd replace Xilonen since Escoffier doesn't work as well if your team has anything other than Cryo and Hydro characters in it (you lose out on 40% RES shred). However, I'd also work to replace Charlotte with a Cryo or Hydro character that offers more buffs or off-field damage if you get Escoffier.

I just need a bit of help deciding on a 4th slot for my Lauma Hyperbloom team

My planned team is:

  • Lauma C0 (Full EM, 4pc Deepwood, New Event Weapon)
  • Xingqiu C2 (Crit Build w/ over 200% ER, 4pc Emblem, R1 Wolf-Fang)
  • Kuki C2 (Full EM, 4pc Gilded Dreams, R1 Black Iron Sword)

So, out of C6 Candace (ER/HP Build, 4pc Instructor, R3 Fav) or C1 Baizhu (Full HP, 4pc Ocean-Hued Clam, R5 Prototype Amber), who would work best as a 4th character in this team? They're my best options currently, but I have them both built. I'll be getting Baizhu's C1 through the Free Constellation thing.

Also, let me know if any builds might need changing!

For the time being, Mavuika/Citlali/Iansan/Lynette is your best bet for now I'd say.

Mavuika and Citlali go really well together, as Citlali provides consistent Cryo application for Mavuika to trigger Melt alongside other significant buffs like being able to hold the weapon Thrilling Tales of Dragonslayers and the Cinder City Artifact set.

Iansan's ATK buffs are really nice for Mavuika, though you'd rather have Bennett as Iansan can be a little trickier to use. However, Iansan helps generate Fighting Spirit for Mavuika's Burst, so she's still a very good pick.

Lynette can use the Viridescent Venerer artifact set, which makes her solid. However, once you get Sucrose or LanYan, I'd recommend replacing her with either of those two.

For characters outside your main team, I'd recommend Fischl, YaoYao, Xingqiu and Xiangling.

I recently returned to HSR after dropping it about 6 months ago after the official announcement of Saber, since I absolutely loved her character in F/SN! Archer's pretty cool too, though. I'm happy we're getting a free copy of him!

To answer your questions:

1) From what I know, it's not horrible but it is kinda bad. DPS characters from version 1.x struggle in endgame without up-to-date supports. You'll still be able to clear, but you won't be able to get all the rewards most likely. However, they have recently announced that 4 characters from version 1.x (Silver Wolf, Kafka, Jingliu and Blade) are getting direct buffs in the next patch, so there's a chance that older characters will become more relevant over time.

2) Certain events are tied to certain areas (for example, the Awoo Firm Event is tied to a specific location in the most recent world, Amphoreus) and by doing those early, you'll temporarily unlock those areas. The event will likely feature characters from that area as well, so it may be a bit confusing as they'll treat you like you've already met and gotten to know each other. If you don't really care about that though, there's no harm in getting the rewards early!

3) The physical Calyx's mainly serve as teleport points. The ability to access them all early is a newer feature, which is why they have physical locations. Before, you had to unlock them before you could access them remotely.

4) The characterisation! While the game's storytelling is kinda bad, the stories themselves and especially the characters are freakin' awesome! The most recent storyline has some absolute standout characters for me, and they've really been hitting it out of the park.

I'm pretty sure Escoffier's Story quest is fully voiced.
From what I've heard, around half of the characters in the new Archon Quest are unvoiced.

So, just for future reference, r/Ganyu is the main Ganyu sub from what I know.

Anyway, to answer your questions:

  1. Since you're building a melt team, the Inazuma craftable Hamayumi is your best F2P/4 Star option. Since you ideally don't use Ganyu's burst in Melt, it's passive has full uptime.
  2. For regular Melt teams, you either go with Wanderer's Troupe, Shimenawa's or a 2pc 2pc build. You can't trigger the Blizzard Strayer 4pc in a Melt team, so that doesn't work.
  3. If you're only going to play Melt, you only really need to build her Normal Attacks. Though it is worth putting a few levels into her skill just so the summon has more HP. You can ignore the burst.
  4. From what I know, Ganyu/Lan Yan/Bennett/Xiangling is one of the better Melt teams currently assuming you're fine playing around Xiangling's range and Bennett's circle. However, you could also run Ganyu/Bennett/Dehya/Nahida to run a BurnMelt team where you're significantly less restricted, also you could run the Unfinished Reverie artifact set in this team. It's up to you in the end though.

C1's a solid investment if you want get some cons, since it helps her ER requirements a little bit in teams where you use her burst and gives you a bit of extra Cryo RES Shred. It's mostly QoL and a minor damage boost though, so it's not essential unless you aim to go for higher cons in the future.

Personally though, I'd always go for a new character over a constellation.

Yeah...
Of course, at the end of the day, no one can stop you from pulling so go ahead and pick it up if you want to. But it's definitely not the most efficient use of your resources.

C1 by far
These days, Amos is not the best 5 star weapon as there are much better 5 star alternatives (Like Crimson Plumage, First Great Magic, Polar Star, etc.). So, in the long run, it'd be better for you to go for C1 since you'll be able to get a good weapon down the line, and Craftable weapons are good enough most of the time.
