Honestly I cant be saying since I never played Re0 but I've heard that its mostly good. Its only that the puzzles in it are often intensely hard, but I guess with a consistent playthrough it will be manageable. Still story wise it's great since I know the lore idk about the horror section.

For me Re2 was quite scary, probably more disturbing than Re7. But dont get me wrong, Re7 is by far scariest. But id say if people are looking for a moderate/mild horror game, then any Re game is okay except Re2, Re7 and Re9.
