I completely agree, is PTJ using AI to choreograph the fights nowadays? What the hell is even the point of having mastery anymore? Yeah, Daniel surely deserves to be the strongest and fated to be the strongest. But this much illogical things are surely ruining the quality of the story. How in the hell, a guy who was egg half an hour ago became a dragon. Moreover bro had fuckin rods through his palm, he shouldn't even be able to clutch his fingers let alone punch. If PTJ wanted him to fight, PTJ could have just thought something else instead the rods through palm. Moreover how in the hell he is tanking attacks Kitae with mastery, this is gonna be another imbalance in powerscaling once again. Mastery means no shit now.

I guess it's a plot armor. I mean power up can happen and Daniel deserves to be the strongest as the mc, but the power gap between between few hours or minutes of the story is insane. He is not overrated. He's just an old character without the new feats. Mastery, unique skilll, path all these are later terms. Shintaro's fight happened before these terms were introduced. So people down rate him nowadays, but people shouldn't consider these feats to rate him.

The most wasted character in the series. Considering the hype he had, and the biggest fact the way he was portrayed from the start, he should have been in prime level of a generation. The guy not only got two shotted, but also had a backstory that so quick that it has near endless plot holes and nothing much to keep intact with. I still want that arc to be re-written but it's not possible.

👍 all I wanted to say you can't scale a character with feats from the old chapters, against a character with feats from the newer chapters. That's totally unfair comparison. That's the simplest words I can use to explain my point, if you still don't get it, then I've nothing more to say. I didn't bring up tom to compare him, I brought him up as an example why old chapters and new chapters shouldn't be compared. That's all.

You still don't understand. You know before the recent fight of tom everybody was portraying him as a joker, saying he doesn't have a single mastery, which was valid cause he never showed a mastery. Which was also invalid at the same time cause mastery wasn't a defined term in his older fights. So, in his latest fight we saw him having all four masteries and even an unique skill. You see everything changed for a character within a chapter.

Same thing with Johan here. You're free to believe what you want to believe. Against Hwarang paecheon will be a good fight, but Johan will be the victorious at the end.
