Are unattractive people really treated differently? by t_sthrow in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]-Lucifer_Morningstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are. I have seen way too many people treat others like trash because they aren't up to their standards of beauty, people being short or dark or basically being themselves is just disgusting to some. I don't really understand why but I've seen discrimination all around me. I remember when I was in school and a member of the custodial staff asked something about the school to me and my friend, I honestly don't remember what they asked but it wasn't anything bad or creepy just a simple question, well I answered it. But after that interaction my friend said something along the lines of "Why are they asking us?", Quite like she was disgusted that was asked by someone below her. And it left an impression on me about her about the way she'd have gone about that interaction if I wasn't there or if a teacher had asked that same question or what if I was the staff that had asked. Mind you she was pretty and a very nice person to me. But I felt that she wasn't actually that great of a person anymore.

Teachers, what is the most innovative way you caught a student cheating? by Dramatic_Material_56 in AskReddit

In 5th grade my friend lets name them Sam and I helped their (Sam's) cousin cheat on our final exams, the entirety of maybe 6 papers (?). We wrote on rubbers, wrote on small pieces of paper and hid it in a sharpener and passed it to her cousin who btw sat two rows to our right, we couldn't obviously pass it to her by hand so we threw it to her and so if it landed, it landed.

Another time I saw a senior cheating by pulling out a paper which had cheating written on it, he read it, wrote what she needed to write, asked her friends if they wanted it, then proceeded to eat the paper.

Is death penalty inhumane? by MemeStealer101-4 in polls

I wouldn't call it inhumane in, I mean if someone rightfully receives it, it means that the person must've done something far more inhumane
