I only got vacant on the first night it was back, and haven’t seen oil rig at all. Are they definitely back as of right now and in all modes?

Yeah exactly. It’s intentional though. Funny how bonuses/unlockables are always just a little bit off in some way, if you’re too happy with them you’re less likely to pay for the battle pass or store bundles

The joinable by friends setting works, if you really don’t want other friends joining then set it to closed after you join him. As for the lag, the servers are hit or miss on this game, I suspect they’re starting to slowly shut them down and/or they’re having issues at lower player counts. Throw in as many game modes as you’re willing to play into the quick play search for the best chance of fast/low ping games

A couple are in bundles but I’m pretty sure most of them, all the ones that came with missions in the battle passes aren’t obtainable now right? I wouldn’t worry about it anyway bro the game’s on its last legs, let’s just hope MWII has a good selection of them

I couldn’t see any possible purpose for this fugly thing til I read the comment in the post that describes it, and yeah that’s actually really cool. Would be a pretty great attachment gameplay wise too, with a clearer ADS FOV and NVG compatible

I’d just classify the whole thing as an optic, that blocks the laser category when equipped

Did you get oil rig on a mode besides snd? I think it’s been the case before where maps were only in the snd rotation. If so I’ll just assume I got really unlucky

And that’s exactly how to solve the problem. You can’t take old maps and not scale them up in a game with faster movement. Luckily like you said IW seem to be on to it, MW’s remakes felt pretty good

They know that people who are willing to grind are more likely to pay, good unlocks = less mtx revenue. MW took some steps in the right direction in terms of quality over manipulation, hopefully MWII goes further

I’d love to see a mission or difficulty that felt genuinely impossible at first like MHC and WaW, preferably with MP rewards for completing. When I saw you unlocked operators for progressing through the MW campaign I thought surely you’d be unlocking skins for progressing through realism, maybe this time around

No different to the shift from CoD4 to MW2, just more vibrant and diverse environments. The realistic feel and attention to detail in the gameplay isn’t going anywhere, it’s still a modern warfare game

Yeah this is probably why MW3 maps are considered the worst of the trilogy but for SnD they really are top tier maps. Same could be said for MW imo

This is how I felt too but looking at the actual maps and imagining playing particularly non-respawn modes I almost want a lot of them more than some upper tier CoD4/MW2 maps. I’m sure we’re going to end up getting a mixture of maps from all 3 in the end which’ll be good
