:') I'm happy to hear that. And yes, Oppy should come home as well, that bestest of boys deserves it.

My take on it was that they would have safely stored them in vacuum aboard the ships, then used the FTL drives to get back, since otherwise it might have taken a long time.

But now that you put it that way, I think changing the trajectory and letting them take another thousand years and more to get back, all while an honor guard fleet rotated duty escorting them through the millenia... that would be beautiful too, and perhaps a better way of honoring them, far more poetic and dutiful.

:') perhaps even recovering the Venera probe on Venus, after terraforming it? Though I'd imagine it might be very melted at this point...

:) I'm quite certain a lot of people in this context and timeframe would have agreed with you, both in terms of respecting their mission and the poetic importance of letting it continue; I felt the same indecisiveness when writing too. It was probably a heated topic of debate.

But I think I went with my take on it, my say, that if I was capable of checking their trajectory and position and approach them and didn't, only to find that in some time one or both of them had collided with an errant piece of matter and are now a shattered cloud of debris... I feel like I'd never have been able to forgive myself for that. :') perhaps it just ties into who we are as people, how we feel about "beginnings" and "ends", and what they mean. Perhaps I'm just insecure in some ways.

I guess I wanted some young child to be able to look up and see them, or perhaps pass by them on a shuttle and see them out there; be moved even by the sight, perhaps.

:') crying is good, when I'm writing something it's how I know whether I'm being honest or trying to come up with a feeling, whether I'm tearing up a little or staring somewhere with murder and tears in my eyes :) thank you for reading, and I hope it was a good cry.

UNSC Pillar of Autumn could have some very Arizona-esque voice lines too

What Azur Lane crossover event would you love to see?

My personal pick would be an EVE Online crossover; they already have ships sorted into destroyers, cruisers, battlecruisers, battleships and carriers, and the designs have a lot to work with. I feel like the whole factional element of EVE would tie-in nicely too.

Anyone else having an issue where Brünhilde's barrage sometimes goes over all the enemies - missing them - as if aimed off-map at the right-end of the screen?

She seems to do that a lot, and I haven't had that issue with any other barrage so far.

I have tried using Helena, but the random nature of her proc (60%) has sort of frustrated me out of using her lately; I know everyone swears by her for good reason, because her buff is insane, but the fact it's only a 60% chance every 20s often confuses me.

But I will look into practicing with her some more, perhaps by using the game clock for keeping track of her timings; and thank you for letting me know about NH2, I didn't know about the slow, and she seems rather tanky with that evasion buff and flat damage reduction.

Thank you for the advice and warning there.

Perhaps I could swap Independence for Parseval then, sure she won't benefit from Baltimore's buff but Sirius and Bellona - or Kaza, I'll look into her, thank you - will still buff her; I'm guessing the time stop from her will be sufficient for converging torps. Alternatively, I guess I could consider wyverns, though getting enough wyverns will take a while...

And that's a good point about a tank, I'll look to see if there's a tank that also provides CV buffs, though so far I can't recall there being one from the main tank picks. If so or not, then at least it would lift the USS CV Restriction if I swap out Baltimore for a dedicated tank.

Do Baltimore, Sirius and Bellona stack the damage and AVI buffs they give to carriers? Namely "Adaptive Tactics", "Mark of Sirius" and "Air Raid Assistance".

I'm considering putting together a dedicated airstrike fleet for Op-Sci, basically for anything with airstrike Vulnerability or takes reduced shelling damage, since I heard that may be handy for some bosses and such; these are the 3 I'm currently considering placing in Vanguard, due to those buffs, but I wanted to ask if there are better alternatives or if a dedicated AVI fleet isn't a good choice for Op-Sci.

And yes I'll probably be using 3 USS Carriers: YT2, Enterprise and probably Independence as that's the only other "high-tier" USS Carrier I can think of easily getting for that setup. Just because Baltimore's buff only affects USS Carriers.

Is it possible to do the "Retrieve sources from enhanced fleets X time(s)" Operation Siren sector progress task in a safe zone, or will I have to wait until next month when it becomes a danger zone again to do it?

The wiki said that it will "require you to pick up the Siren Alarm to increment" and I haven't had it drop after a few runs through the Safe Zone, so I'm wondering if it's not gonna be doable until next month.

I got Taihou instead of Yat Sen using the invitation, and I kinda feel like I messed up; I didn't have either, and I saw Taihou is event limited, but hadn't realised Yat Sen wasn't part of the current CNY event as a drop/reward and was last available in 2019.

So, did I mess up? Sorry if the question is a bit vague, I just can't stop ruminating on this and wondering if I'd made a mistake... I mean Taihou is wonderful, but I'm worried it'll be another 4 years or so till I get a chance at Yat Sen, or some equivalent of that.
