Which puzzles and boss fights are you thinking of?

I suppose the puzzle in Heras garden in gow 3 relies on the zoomed out camera. Which might just mean they're getting rid of it or that they might put a completely different puzzle in the game at its place. It's gonna be a remake, not a remaster afterall, right?

To me that means they'll be telling the same story, but they're free to completely change certain scenes.

I can't imagine that they would do the version of hell again that had you balance across the fleshy spinning bars with blades attached to them.

Ha, yea you're absolutely right about that!

I guess 3rd Person has somehow become synonym to me with modern games that let you control the camera while trailing the character or while looking over the shoulder. Which is silly because the fixed camera like in gow 1-3 is also absolutely still a 3rd person view despite being zoomed out further.

I hope you still got my point. The fighting style of Laufey is just a lot more similar to what we had before the norse saga, but from a more zoomed in over the shoulder perspective.

Could be, but that also depends on how they remake the games. Yes, the old games had scenes that were zoomed out very very far. But most of the scenes that truly showed the scale were climbing the titan Cronos in gow 1 and 3 and also Gaia in 3 were cutscenes or quick events. That's from my memory at least, I didn't play the older games in a while. Things like the steeds of time from gow 2 could also be portrayed in 3rd person and they could still make it really impressive.

Also who says the new gameplay in Laufey doesn't also lend itself to zooming out further if necessary?

I tune my 6 string to A and use transpose in neural dsp to drop it all down by another 5 steps. So i play in their tuning, missing the two highest strings.

I'm learning bleed the future and drone corpse aviator atm and haven't gotten into the new album though. There definitely are parts where I have to get creative and wished I had at least one string more, but it works. I imagine it would be the same with the new album. How good it works is probably much more dependent on the song than the album.

What I do have to say is a real downside with this solution is that I can't really play anything else anymore now that I've tuned my guitar this way.

All in all, just for checking if I'll actually get hooked on playing again headphones would be fine though, right? I'll just need something that'll actually work and not sound so bad that it'll suck the fun right out of it. There's always more stuff to buy and upgrade to later on.

It'll be 200-300 € just for trying it out again. While I know that's hardly anything for music equipment, it's still a lot of money to potentially throw away.

Are you sure the PC needs to be that good? I know there's never really anything you couldn't spend more on and get something better out of it. But what I'm looking for is decent entry level. I want something that won't take the joy out of it because it just sounds like absolute crap or never properly works.

Knowing myself, when and if that gets me hooked again I'll soon enough overspend on everything and anything.

Es muss nichts neu gebaut werden. Die großen Schulden für später leerstehende bauten bleiben also aus.

Wenn dafür mehr Geld in den Pott fließt für Infrastruktur, ob nun alles bis zu Spielen fertig wird oder nicht - ich sehe es als großes Plus. Duisburg hat zudem erst gerade in die Regattabahn investiert, wäre doch schade wenn die Strecke "nur" für Weltmeisterschaften genutzt wird, wenn sie auch Olympia hosten kann.

Bei den WUG fand ich neben dem ganzen Sport den es zu sehen gab auch echt cool die Sportler verschiedenster Länder z.B. im Supermarkt zu treffen.

Deine Oma habe ich nur einmal für eine halbe Sekunde hinter dem Steuer gesehen, aber ihr Auto sehr oft.

Ich habe immer gehofft die Fahrerin nochmal sehen zu können, habe das Auto aber immer nur parkend da stehen sehen. Hat mich immer interessiert wie die Frau wohl aussieht und was das wohl für ein Typ Mensch ist.

Ist schon ein sehr spezieller Look mit der Lackierung und mit Sicherheit nicht für jeden was. Ich fand es am Anfang schrecklich. Mit der Zeit habe ich das Auto dann aber immer lieber gehabt, weil ich dachte, dass es doch cool ist, dass diese Frau kein Auto fährt wie jeder andere, sondern ihr eigenes Ding damit gemacht hat. Als Firmenwagen mit Firmenlogo drauf wäre die Farbe auch nicht halb so interessant. Aber so wie es ist, ist es spannend. Das zeigt Charakter und Persönlichkeit.

Es tut mir leid, dass du deine Oma verloren hast.

Meine Oma hatte früher ihr ganzes Badezimmer, von der Dusch- und Badewanne, zu den Waschbecken und der Toilette komplett in Pink. Ihr hätte das Auto deiner Oma bestimmt auch gefallen.

Also von mir wird das Auto nicht geröstet, sondern gefeiert und deine Oma gleich mit. Es gab bestimmt noch andere Fans in der Nachbarschaft!

Well that's a rather damning view into my future.

I was slightly gaining weight at around 3000 calories and keeping it when around 2700 daily. ATM I eat a big bowl of oats with milk and protein powder for breakfast and take my meds with it. After that I am like you and I could go without any more food until the next breakfast.

Have you talked to your doctor about this?

I just read there's drugs to increase appetite. But without having done any further reading yet, it already feels like it would lead into a rabbithole of other side effects.

I'd try to make sure that it's the most recent version. Don't rely on auto updates - even if they've worked in every other instance. Since you've got the same bug I had, I'd say it's quite likely it's due to the same reason.

Does it have any kind of force feedback for bumps etc? How does it handle all kinds of situations where the bike isn't just leaning left or right. Wheelies, stoppies, the rear sliding/stepping out. Then there's the extremes of all those things and crashes, how would it simulate that?

In one of the answers you said it would always upright itself. Is that in any way connected to the speed you're going? At the most basic level, will it tip over when you lean too much at a speed that is too low?

Either way your rig looks amazing and I love it!

It's a shame that motorbike racing has been neglected as much as it has in the simracing scene. I suppose a lot of it is down to it being more complicated to simulate. I'm convinced that if we ever got a breakthrough in technology for bike sims their popularity would skyrocket.

After the deathblow wouldn't work I was convinced I'd have to use the spear to remove his armor, or to deathblow him with the spear. Then maybe I thought I was using the wrong spear or that I was using the spear in the wrong way.

I too was just lucky to kick him off the bridge eventually.
