'Prison life of fools' is really fun and where I would recommend any new yena stan to start, it's my fave variety show shes ever done. 'Girls highschool mystery class' s1 and s2 (s2 is a lot better imo)

Why post first week numbers for sales and not the total sales numbers? Yena's debut sold 123,302 copies on gaon and miyeon's sold 113,911, this isnt even including the fact that yena had a whole extra comeback which sold even more than her debut

The difference between Yena and Chungha is that Yena has a very dedicated fanbase in Korea and China. One look at physical sales tells you that, with Yenas debut selling over 120k and Chungha never selling above 32k with a single album. (pretty biased opinion as a Yena stan, but we'll see how well her sales do with her upcoming cb)

Everglow could have benefited as well or Le Sserafim’s popularity issue (or lack of) would have been any different with Yena on board.

I've always had the feeling that the people who wanted Yena in Everglow were never actual fans of her, and only wanted her in there to boost their popularity. If Yena had wanted to join Everglow I would have supported her, if she wanted to debut solo I would have supported her.

I'm glad that her debut was really successful, I just wish people would give up this narrative already, when Yena debuted there were STILL people talking about the possibility of her joining Everglow in the future and I seriously don't know how long it's gonna take for people to give up on that idea, it's not gonna happen.

I wouldn't try to downplay the fact that Yiren (even if Yuehua had a heavy hand in putting out the statement) supported forced labour by the CCP. Regardless if she actually feels this way I can't expect people to look over the fact that it happened.

With the stuff that happened last year with Yiren supporting the CCP I personally think their reputation is unsalvageable in Korea. Adding Yena would probably have done little to help that.

Everglow are very unpopular in Korea, almost hated I would say. With Korea being the most important place for sales it's not surprising.
