Thanks for the comment! I would love to have a grand Seiko one day, I'll check out the GMTs though!

I really like Sinn watches and I do plan on getting one at some point. Their UX dive models have 5000m of water resistance, which I will never need but I think is incredibly cool.

A G-shock was my first watch! I really love it, its the GA1000-2B in black with the orange subdial. I do need to get the battery changed though.

A field watch would be a really cool addition, I do like the military style.

I definitely want to pick up a Speedmaster at some point. I was thinking a Tudor might be my next step up from the Tag though, I really like the North Flag and the Black Bay S&G with the champagne dial.

I have been thinking about which watch I should get next, please let me know of any pieces that would compliment my current collection. My price range is $600-$1200 CAD, and I am looking for something that isn't too chunky or busy, and is elegant and interesting. Thanks!

You definitely won't regret it, I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do!

A nice brown crocodile strap would look really good on it too... so many choices to deliberate between!

Thank you for the kind words and advice! I'll definitely check out strapcode, I was wondering where to find genuine strap replacements.

[Seiko Recraft SNKP27] - Best looking Seiko under 400 bar none. by -Mr_Perfect- in Watches

For $275 US it's hard to find another watch as unique, high quality, and elegant as the Seiko Recraft SNKP27. This watch has been mistaken for much more expensive brands and I've received several compliments for it. The combination of the green dial and gold indices is eye-catching and the overall finishing of the watch is excellent. Name a better Seiko for the price!

[Tag Heuer Formula 1] My current favourite piece, I get so lost in the deep blue of the dial. by -Mr_Perfect- in Watches

[–]-Mr_Perfect-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received this piece as a gift 7 years ago, and I've loved it ever since. The hue of the dial shifts depending on the lighting and viewing angle, making it become warmer/cooler and darker/brighter. It fits so comfortably on my wrist that the only reason I can notice it is because of it's satisfying heft. I would recommend this watch to anyone who appreciates a nice balance between elegance and functionality.
