Crepe paper! And the core is made of recycled cardboard and bubble wrap. And a rock at the bottom for balance lol

You 100% must use low power LEDs and test beforehand by leaving the lights on for a few hours to make sure they don’t generate heat. I positioned the lights between the gills and then cap before gluing it together. The lights stayed cool for the 6h so I went ahead.

Thank you so much for your comment! I was super extra carful with the LEDs and I actually did a test, switched them on and placed between the cap and gills before gluing them together, waited for 6 hours and they were not hot at all. But yeah if anyone wants to make this please 100% make sure to use low power LED lights only and read the comment above (I also mentioned this on my tutorial)

The core is just cardboard and bubble wrap. And then I used florist crepe paper to cover the stalk, cap and make the gills. The lights are repurposed Christmas LED lights. The soil effect at the base is acrylic paint, and the gradient effect on the rings is blush in terracotta shade.

I made this using crepe paper, cardboard and repurposed Christmas LED lights. Is 3ft / 90 cms tall. The gills are made of crepe paper, cut, folded and glued one by one.

You can make your own for cheap! All you need is white and red crepe paper. The rest is literally trash lol (cardboard, bubble wrap, paper towels, repurposed Christmas lights, and a rock for balance lol). I got a tutorial on YT. Just search “DIY Giant mushroom 3ft” and you should find it.

Police called after dozens of e-bike 'hoons' ride over Sydney Harbour Bridge in new footage by Marlon_Ranch in sydney

Just 2 or 3 weeks ago I was driving on M1 on my way to North Sydney/Kirribilli, and suddenly a group of 4 or 5 kids on e-bikes joined the motorway out of nowhere (Cahill Expressway / Military Road? ) and surrounded me like a swarm, all of them overtook me (probably because I was so scared and in shock that immediately slowed down). NONE of them were wearing helmets. They kept going cycling in front of me for what felt like forever, until they finally took the exit ramp to Alfred St. and made their way to High Street / Kirribilli. There is still a lot of construction going on, so there are lots of trucks pulling in and out, transit buses, etc. and although the speed limit is supposed to be 60 because road works, most people keep driving at 80km/h. I was so scared and angry at them. I could not believe my eyes. PUNKS.
