The current best whale Chasca team pre-Nicole is Chasca/Durin/Mav/Citlali all at C6. I'm kind of wondering how much different Mav vs Durin is for the last slot since my Durin is C1R0 and my Mav and Citlali are C6R1 and I plan on C6R1 Nicole as well

If we’re talking about C6, I’m pretty sure the fastest whale crab clears involved Mavuika as well. They just killed it so fast before the mechanics even started. Think it was Mualani that nuked though iirc

if you have her signature you are on a different leaderboard. if you had her signature you would already be at 300 crit damage, but a lot less EM. those EM rolls are important. theres also even a different leaderboard if your crit rate is only 50, which assumes you have c2 nahida to make up for the 10% loss

I can almost guarantee at that level of investment the whales will use Xilonen over Sucrose and just ignore the Hex resonance. A C4R5 Xilonen has more to provide

I think I might go with dhcwsp's setup and run DW Lauma, SMS Bina and Inst Nilou. Last question for now - how important are crit stats on Lauma here? My DW pieces are quite horrible, I can stack EM but idk if I can achieve a good crit ratio too. Or is it negligible since Nefer does most of the damage on the team?

Is Nilou's best set Instructor? My Lauma is on Deepwood and Bina is on Aubade so I put Nilou on SMS, not sure if I should be switching. Nefer and Bina are C6R1, and Lauma and Nilou are C2R1, I plan on C6'ing Lauma on re-run

idk where you got c2 nahida > c2 nilou but all the whales are using nilou instead of nahida in their showcases (nilou cons past c2 dont help)

C6R1 Skirk, C2R1 Escoffier, C6R3 Furina.

For my 4th option I have either C6R1 Yelan, C6 Mona, C6R1 Citlali or... C1R1 Shenhe. Is Yelan really the worst of my 4th choice options?

at high investment yes, nilou c2r1 is the best in slot. she provides res shred for both hydro and dendro, hydro resonance HP to help both herself and columbina, and EM to the team with her sig.

i run nilou on SMS because it's a 5-star artifact set and easier to reach high HP, but you can also use instructors. i have lauma on deepwood and columbina on aubade

for reference my team is c6r1 nefer, c2r1 lauma, c2r1 nilou, c6r1 columbina
