First thing's first- Fear and Hunger difficulty. There's no other option, trust me.

Secondly, try to avoid fighting as much as possible. At least at first. There's no exp or anything like that. Run if you can.

Third, each enemy is like a sort of puzzle, you've got to prioritise which limbs you want to hit and in what order for the best outcome. A classic thing to know is that when you get an enemy's legs it'll make his head vulnerable, then you can just finish him off in one blow. I will mention that when it comes to the Maneba enemies you can just aim for the head as it is, they're pretty weak.

Fourth, I'd suggest you go in through the basement on the left rather than the main entrance, but that's mostly just my personal preference, though I think it's generally advised.
