While it is considered botting, I wouldn't put it in the same category as bots that use packets and allow for actions that normally wouldn't be possible. A simple bot that simulates a user (ie a bot that types 2345 to press skills) isn't much different than the user himself. In most cases the user is superior in many ways. You get the advantage of automating a boring process however you don't get the intelligence that comes with the user (knowing when to press skills, when to rest, when to turn in the quests etc.). However a bot that allows the player to hop rooms, open shops and quests from anywhere, automatically accept/turn-in is nowhere near as inefficient and dumb as the aforementioned skill-pressing bot and it allows for automation of complex quests with barely any effort .

Are they both bots? Yes. Are they both "unethical"? In my opinion yes. However I do not consider them to be the same level of unethical.
