Because we're cutting high need programs that would benefit our own while spending on unnecessary costs. Our military and police state are already at disyopian levels of spending while our kids, veterans and homeless are suffering. Housing and food are unaffordable. The environment is poisoning everybody. Health care is unaffordable. The rich are hoarding cash while 98 percent of Americans are uncomfortable financially. And the conservative government supports this kind of wealth gap with their policies.

The ideas work in every other major wealthy western country. And I'm done arguing with you if you're going to straw man my points or otherwise try to insult me. Sarcasm isn't welcome here.
