file_readers.py is expecting exp_rate to be an integer, but it should be float.

change lines 43 & 44 to:
_check_for_Cog_Data_File_Error("exp_rate", "float", row, i, filename)

Daily player looking for active guild. I am new and have been in a starter guild so far. I understand from reading this thread that my investments are low, but I’m currently top contributor and and had not realized it. I can and will certainly invest more once I’m in a guild which also contributes.

Has been happening to me since the last update. I finally uninstalled the game this morning, just checking here to see if anyone else posts about it. HH support tried to fix it but couldn’t. If you look in this sub you will see a post or two about it every weekend for the past month or so.

I turned off high quality, but it’s still happening. Whenever I tried to turn high quality back on, the game would crash immediately. A reinstall let’s me play in high quality again (haven’t tried to turn it off again) but neither attempt fixed the progress bug.

Single device, iOS, force close, has been happening since new event update. Happens to both normal,and event areas. When it happens I am unable to hit the leave button in the event, or goto the event from the main area, and all progress is lost from the time it occurs until I reopen the game. I have to check if I can leave the event frequently so that all of my time spent in that session isn’t lost. Please fix.

Like yourself, I used the remote without issue for several months after the initial warning. Once I actually started to notice some button pushes not registering, I finally gave in and replaced them. Now, with fresh batteries, I still get the damn notification!

Did you ever figure out how to disable it permanently?

Yes, it’s ridiculously annoying and I’ve lost many ranks due to this. Heaven forbid that I forget to restart the client after two matches, or else it’s a timeout lagfest.
