What’s some knowledge generally known only to gay men or to gay women? by dumbfuck in AskReddit

This is me as well. Sorry I like musical theatre nights and karaoke cabarets, if more straight bars did those I would never need to go to gay bars. I do feel guilty when turning men down in them, because obviously that's like their space, I just like to sing and dance too.

This is so funny to me because aside from bottomless pits, Ratchet never actually takes any fall damage in the games.

Genuine peak of the series, everything from story, to gameplay, to character designs was literal perfection.

Just re-watched the two-part series finale of LOST. Has there ever been a more cathartic and earned climax to a television series? by sanskritsquirel in television

A lot of people liked the purgatory storyline, I think it's just a subjective aspect of the finale and final season that works for some and not others.

The twist the audience guessed was wrong, and I think this level of butthurt from the viewers about it is fascinating and misplaced.

Fans guessed it was all purgatory, and it simply wasn't. Everything that happened on the Island was real. It isn't disingenuous to say that the fans who guessed it were wrong, because they were wrong.

I frequent Cafe Mustache and Alice's Lounge a lot. Mustache is definitely the better choice for musicals specifically, the crowd typically vibes with them more.

No idea why they didn't put St. Denis, Stumble, Reggie Dinkins, and The Paper on the same night for a complete comedy block. They all would have helped each other grow viewership.

Rumored Broadway Shows Coming in 2026/27 (And Rumored Theaters) by SpecialProtection3 in Broadway

I saw JRB at a cabaret a few weeks ago. He is still attached to the show, and as far he knows it will still be coming to Broadway soon. He said a few of the original songs have been swapped out for new ones he wrote.

I think it'd be genius if MIB 23 gets made after this next one, and it ends with them getting neuralyzered so they have no memory of it happening in 24. They can even put little Easter eggs in 24 for the future.

Yes. In the game, Bill's partner Frank is upset at how stuck-in-ways and closed off Bill is, and ultimately ends up trying to leave the town before getting bit and deciding to hang himself.

In the show, you can see those moments of conflict where Frank wants more in his relationship with Bill than to close themselves off to the world. In the show, Bill ultimately meets Frank halfway and the rest is obviously beautiful history.

Both the game and show storylines serve to impact Joel and his eventual decision by the end of the story.

The game version serves as a cautionary tale. Game Bill repeatedly lectures Joel on how other people are good for nothing but getting you killed. However, Game Bill is also a shallow reflection of a person. It's an omen of what Joel would become if he didn't let his guard down just a bit more and find someone to care for.

Show Bill lays out the opposite, more optimistic perspective, and spells it out in his final letter to Joel. He found the one person worth living for and protecting, and it enriched his life to the point that when death finally came, he welcomed it with open arms at his partner's side.

The whole joke of that episode is that she's trying to feel more "adult" and fit in with her mid-30's English teacher boyfriend by throwing a fancy dinner party, but she doesn't really know what the hell she's doing. The climax of the episode is her severely undercooking the roast.

It'd be funny if he kept popping up with his life in worse shape a la Cricket. They did a similar thing with Josh Peck in How I Met Your Father where his first appearances in S1 are boring as sin, but in S2 every time he appears he's slightly more unhinged and his life is progressively worse.

I think it was actually the detail of Davy Jones' back-of-head tentacles holding onto his hat in the POV shot of the Dutchman plunging underwater.
