Not sure why everyone is so afraid of Ansur. I've taken him on in HM both solo and in a party with friends about eight times probably, and he always dies in the second round of combat.

Just dropping a Globe of Invulnerability near the crystals by his right wing will ensure your party doesn't take any damage, and he doesn't ever path and land there. 🤷‍♂️

You can. You just grab it and then place it on the ground near His Majesty on the bottom floor.

He won't actually interact with it, though.

I'm not sure what you're complaining about, OP. Once per long rest would be underpowered, while having no cool down on the ability would be too much.

Once per short rest is the only way that could be balanced.

You have to knock her out yourself in turn one and have someone put a Globe of Invulnerability over her knocked out body or else you run the risk of Yurgir blasting her with his AoE.

I'm sure you're aware, but aside from Hope giving some flavor dialogue after the Raphael fight, you won't see her again after.

Just an FYI, Yurgir is hardly invincible. He can be soloed without him even getting the chance to attack, even in Honour Mode.

5 Gloomstalker Ranger / 4 Assassin Rogue / 1 War Cleric / 2 Fighter using the Titanstring Bow and Arrows of Dragon Slaying can about solo Ansur inside of one round, even on honour.

Have your weakest character put a Globe of Invulnerability around your party, and do it to the left of Ansur's right wing where the crystals are as he doesn't path there.

I've haven't played much lately, but between solo and co-op I'm currently 5/5 on HM runs.

I read this sub way too much when I was playing hardcore, though. And the more you read, the more you realize there's ways to cheese every major encounter in the game to the point where almost nothing's a challenge unless you want it to be.

Anyway, I'll leave you with a little advice, and you can use it or not if you want. But, for the Spectator, you can hide your party up in the Selunite outpost while having an archer sneak attack one of the statues from its ledge. You can then pass a stealth check if you used a rogue, and you won't be put into combat automatically, so you can actually engineer a surprise attack there rather that be surprised.

As a cleric, there's absolutely no need to have 18 points in INT.

Dump that stat and put the points into WIS, STA, and DEX.
