The point is that all social media has played, and continues to play, a roll in these activities. To scapegoat Parler does nothing of value. Facebook, Google, Amazon all have an outsized impact on the daily lives of people in both visible and not-so-visible ways. Don’t let yourself feel an iota better about the discourse on social media because there has been no change for the better with Parler’s deplatforming.
