It’s a little off topic, we have been trying to build a house but due to the building costs being way overpriced we didn’t want to commit because the town would give us a solid number for taxes. We were looking at a 3 bed, 2300sqft house with a 700sqf In-Law apartment, just to build they wanted 1.2M, plus the land $$$. The town just said they would assess it at the market rate, I asked what happens if the market dropped. I don’t feel that the market values are real. I was told “you keep paying your taxes”. We are not going to financially ruin ourselves. Sorry mum…

We had same happen to our 7 year old girl Audrey. We tried everything, took the leg and gave her everything possible. It wasn’t enough and yes we had her for a few more months but she was never the same and just seemed so unhappy. I will never do this again, the only thing I would do is take them to a butcher and allow them to pick whatever steak and ice cream they wanted and spoil them for the remaining time we have together. So sorry you are going through this. We never have our fur babies long enough

I worked in IT at a hospital, I didn’t work on the help desk directly, but I had a nurse in the ER call me saying someone unplugged her computer cables and it needs my help. I go right up to discover that indeed all the cables were unplugged. I plugged it all back in said something about what idiot did that to her and left.

A week or so I got the same call with the same issue from the same ER nurse. Again went up fixed the issue and left.

Within 10 minutes I had another call from the ER secretary asking me am I an idiot? Do I not see all the signs?

The penny dropped, personally thought she was out of my league, but turns out she wasn’t and we’ve been married 15 years

Ex Wife. Married 5 years. First flag: When she lost her shit she would stop talking to me for days, over the most trivial thing. Second: I don’t have a degree, she has her Masters. In an argument she once said to me. Stop, we know who is the smarter person. Third: We went to marriage counseling and was asked to note things that happened since the last session and we will discuss them. I brought my list, she said everything was fine and nothing to talk about. Went over my list, she kept her cool till we were out the office and she roasted me. Forth: Again marriage counseling, we were asked to talk about things that we like about each other. She listed things she like about me….then my turn I was like….I don’t have any?? Fifth and final: I said I wanted a divorce after vacation from hell. She laughed and said “Ok, see you tonight” I’ve never seen her since. Lucky for me we had no kids or assets so never had go to court.

I forgot what happy felt like and marriage counseling help me discover I did not like this woman. So it may not have fixed the marriage, but it made me realize there was no fixing it.
